  1. Yes, I see they're out of stock in Thomann again.
  2. Just back from the first full band practice with the new PUP. Fantastic! The bass was massive, meaty and clear. Pure trouser-flapping goodness 😎
  3. That’s it installed! Very happy with the result and genuinely easy to fit, even for me and I’m crap at stuff like this 😂
  4. Well, quite out of the blue, look what just arrived! Merry Xmas to me
  5. We lost a wonderful voice two days ago. Mark Lanegan, RIP.
  6. Well, spoke too soon. My new Geezer is delayed again with no delivery date. Disappointed.
  7. Good news! Wife got an email saying the pickup will be with me on Monday.
  8. My wife ordered them for me for Christmas from Musique as they were the only place showing in stock. Communication has been poor.
  9. So it’s not just me then lol. Something oddly comforting about that.
  10. I’ve been waiting on delivery of an EMG Geezer PHZ since the middle of December! I’ve looked at every website I can think of (UK) and they are out of stock everywhere. What’s the deal?
  11. Whiskey lol! Thanks.
  12. Not last night but Friday. A wee private coffee shop thing. Low-key but excellent fun! https://fb.watch/aLbQbeMjBM/
  13. Attila the Stockbroker livestream on FB 😊
  14. Demented Are Go - Welcome Back To Insanity Hall.
  15. A couple of weeks ago now but this was our first proper, paid, in a pub gig. It was epic!
  16. Cool, I’ll check it out.
  17. Nice! Next time I’ve got some spare cash I might just take a punt on it.
  18. IMHO, you need 2 core sounds: one dirty and one clean. Add more dirt or modulation with preset pedals. That's it.
  19. Excellent, look forward to your in-depth review lol
  20. I stumbled on this recently. Seems to be a direct clone of the Darkglass at around half the price. Anyone tried one or had real world experience? http://www.demon-fx.com/index.php?c=show&id=33
  21. One blurry pic of me with my old band, the other shows what I actually look like lol
  22. I filled it with good wood glue and clamped it. But the clamp was crap and slipped without me realising and the gap didn’t tighten up properly but set about a mm apart in places. Solid as a rock but not right, which probably was the reason I had to set the E saddle so far back for intonation. Adds to the mojo lol.
  23. It lay ignored and unloved for years and it was a mess. So I took everything apart not knowing if it would even be playable when I put it back together because there was a big crack through the headstock. So I thought I’d get medieval with it and set it on fire, cleaned all the electrics and fixed the crack as best I could. Plays better now than it ever did! Still a bit neck divey but a good leather strap sorted that.
  24. I have an Concord 1 that I've owned from 1982. It's been through the wars as you can see but it still plays really well. Solid as a rock, really punchy sound.
