Bugger - You haven't got a Para Driver there as well by any chance have you Tony?

Need something for an 'in the gig bag' backup for the Helix.  Narrowed it down to a Para Driver or the Dug Pinnick preamp thingy.

Para Driver preferably as a) it'll be cheaper and b) it can be phantom powered..

    I dont I'm afraid. 😁

Wow - that is saying something about how good this pedal is!

Have to admit I'm planning on still having both sitting next to each other on my board for the foreseeable future, there are some things (like parallel routing of effects for clean blend) that are easy to do on the Stomp but not sure could be done on the FI and obviously there are a whole bunch of additional effects available on the Stomp; the FI does what it does incredibly well :)

Yeah, early days but for the amount of effects I actually use, the stomp is a bit of a luxury. Obviously there are other features too and a great piece of kit Might keep both, will see.

  3. I'm really liking this, had my first play earlier today. Some of the other fx are perfect usable for me. So much so, it could see me move on the HX Stomp. Looks like I might need some form of midi interface to sort the presets out via a PC? Can you change the order of the existing presets? Thinking I could have my favs all neatly clumped together.

  4. Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass Crafted in Japan with Gator Hard Case

Great condition, a few little marks here and there.

Super slick neck plays like butter.

    Sounds great.

Comes fitted with silver shell scratch plate. Looks proper cool. Also included is original white scratch plate. I'll throw in a used once Fender strap for good measure.

Have original unopened fender documentation and Gator hard case for ultimate protection.

Serial number dates it at 1998 or thereabouts.

    £725 collected from Earby, Lancashire

    Can post at cost.

Yes, you can use it solely for the distortion section which is pretty tweakable. Yes, you can blend in clean bass, both to parallel and running into the filter section. Yes, you can use it as an envelope filter on the clean bass signal (though I don’t think it’s that great at that). It’s a seriously powerful and flexible machine and will become even more so with the new update.

Cheers for the insight, I was hoping the envelope would be decent. What's in the update?

  6. Just listened to you tube demos on this and it sounds ace.

I'm thinking it could cover all envelope needs too.

So if you can adjust all the parameters can you literally tweak to have just fuzz?

I assume it has a blend? Can defo hear the bass in some of the demos.

Its a lot of money for minimal use for me, but if it sounds the dogs its always worth the investment (this is what I keep telling myself anyway)
