Hi all ok I am strating to understand the effects chain , in what order ( group do what go where) I know it goes guitar / bass then wah The question I want to know is the group ie filters distortion time etc so does it go aftr wah filter group , then distortion group then time group is this correct? thanks How many groups are ther ? & what are in each group ? thanks or a web site to find out thanks for future reference

Hi all I bought a set of pedals off a person here in oz a Digitech envolope filter , Arion bass chrous , Arion bass over drive , a Behringer bass limiter. What order should I put the ie bass -?????????? Also I am thinking of buying either a Digitech compressor or a Boss Flanger ( I can only afford 1 baout the same price) which 1 & why or none with what I already have thanks. Hi all the head stock looks a lot like the old SX head ie the hook type of head

Some people use sand paper the logic is that 1 side which has the grit ( + you can try diffrent grit for the thickness) which bites into the wood thus wont move. I have also here of people using gyprock( thats what we call it in Australia plaster for wall Yanks call it drywall) sanding sheet it works like the sand paper but has both sides with grit to bite both body & neck

Hi can any 1 tell me if acoustic bass stringsare the same as electric bass strings ? as my son has been offered at the right price a s/hand samick acoustic bass but the strings have seen better days. Or is it like acoustic / electric guitars the strings are diffrent steel acoustic I am takling about thanks

Hi all I have just finished making a parts 4 string jazz bass & what I was wondering is the any advantage of a 5 string jazz bass over a 4 strong jazz bass. By that question I mean the cost ratio vs the sound / playablity Also with a 5 string neck does it feel really big compare to a 4 string neck thanks

Yes I did this to a freind of my sons bass still able to adjust it after 2 years
