the same thing happened to me this week with an EBS HD350 on gumtree, luckily i spotted the dodgyness and reported it. watch out this seems to be quite a common thing at the mo.
Funny enough the EBS was on last Friday and is located the next street down(So they say!)from my drummer friend so I asked if he could collect it but alas no reply, I think they are after a mail order sucker..
I think that anyone who has worked hard to become very good at their profession makes what they do look very easy. Be that carpenter, engineer, or musician. Most people see someone doing something well and it looks easy. How many people have said to you "I wish I could play an instrument. When I was younger I started to learn ....... but never stuck with it. " So I think people know it's hard and takes a lot if work but think because they're enjoying listening and dancing then you must be enjoying playing, so why would you want to be paid?
I think this is true about any physical skill, In the middle ages anyone with a skill that took time to learn like carpenter, stone mason ect were at the upper end of the pay scale/society just for the fact that they could do what others could not do. Now it's undervalued having a skill and that includes entertainment.

G & L 's have never really kept there value compared to other manufacturers (I've owned 5 and would never buy a new one) but there no doubting the quality of them.

I think the Sparkle finish on a Asat is the only one to have IMO, This looks like Dub Junky's Old one, A lot overpriced IMO.

Bought from DV247 as a B stock item its got a little bit of scuffing and a rubber cover missing from the handle but other than that its new, Really lovely sounding speaker and very high SPL's so its good for FOH,Monitor or quite popular with Double Bass/EUB's so a jack of all trades and weighs 18.6 KG for a 1000watts. I will give you the guarantee and sealed bag with manual and locking speaker lead. Weird high end thing to have in Cash Generator but it looks new with original box. http://www.cashgenerator.co.uk/other-dj-equipment/bergantino-audio-systems-hd-212-cab-speaker-ga2283

Thats a great price not many PA's will touch that at £1800, Must be end of line clearance.

I have the original Actor series and only use two subs so it's exactly like the Elias in power,Like most HK stuff the vocals stand out really well in the mix and even with only 1600watts it's overkill for the venues we play, HK don't play the Wattage game like other manufacturers and if anything they sound a lot higher than quoted so it will play most places without breaking a sweat, Also the quality of sound is bang on the button,Lovely bit of kit.
-
Like JTUK said the older ones are such great cabs I had the Henry and Goliath Snr and have never owned better cabs just lighter ones.

Only used at practice once bought really for Sound Checks but never used, Good reviews for this and sounds great with Bass guitar. Never came with a P/S unlike the US version. Cheers

2.4ghz fhss digital technology
65,000 channels
100 foot (30 meters) range
Plug-n-play - no set up
Up to 6 receivers at a time - up to 12 transmitters per receiver (one at a time)
Good Reviews on TalkBass (reason I bought it) but sadly its been sat in the bottom of my gig bag for the last 2 years. Few marks on it and it was stuck on my pedal board with Velcro but like I said it not been used. http://www.bbesound....opto-stomp.aspx I think I've got the box for it somewhere but it will be posted well packed. Cheers -
It's non adjustable fixed bias, which is bad. you need to make sure the valves are well matched which they pretty much aren't gonna be if you get them from somewhere like that.
Don't know why you would say the final comment seeing I buy only the 400+ Kit from them and they have checked they are matched,Could you expand? Thanks.
-
Very easy to re valve actually I always do my own with a Eurotube kit, it's a fixed bias so there's nothing to adjust. I'd say £800 a pretty good price for one, great amp BTW.
