    Up for sale a Sadowsky onboard preamp with VTC (Vintage Tone Control - works both in passive and in active mode). 4 knobs configuration, wired Vol/Vol/VTC (pull for passive)/bass-treble stack (boost-only).     Up for sale a Precision body made of two pieces of solid swamp ash with a beautiful grain pattern. Bought this online as an unfinished factory second with a missing splinter in the back and some scratches on the tummy cut. I fixed the missing wood with some filler (see pics) and I finished with oil and wax to give it a distressed look. The body comes with a 3-ply BWB pickguard, EMG active P pickup V/T with Warwick knobs, a decent quality vintage-style bridge.     Up for sale an EMG BTC control. Smart little 2-band preamp with a great sound. works perfectly with EMG pickups and can be used also with passive pickups. requires very little cavity space: just a stacked pot and a very small preamp board. also has a dipswitch for mid freq selection.     FYI, these were fitting perfectly the cavities of my MIJ Fender Marcus Miller jazz bass, no extra routing required. Maybe the Amazon user experienced problems with a non-Fender bass, or with a pre-2000 MIM Fender jazz, which notably has the two pickups of the same size. cheers

    Hi Nick, yes they are standard Fender Jazz sizes - bridge pickup longer than neck pickup.     Thanks mate! yes these basses are all but basic... funny thing the Sandberg Classic does exist and it is basically the same bass but with a different body shape
