  1. Gavin bought my Brubaker NBS 1 in a super smooth deal. Called at my home, tried the bass, and did the bank transfer. Perfect. Very sorry to see the bass go, but it's going to a good home.
  2. Yes, wasn't coming out of the EU a great idea.😡😡😡😡😡😡
  3. Sorry, originally in wrong section! Two band pre amp for active pickups suitable for two pickup use. Master volume (pull for slap control), blend plus concentric bass/treble control, with black knobs. Suggest a technician checks my connections as I may have connected one of the live wires incorrectly. Comes with full diagrams. Any questions please ask.

  5. Hi KK, You send a private message from Basschat. I get an e mail from Basschat advising me of this, and we go from there. Look forward to hearing from you. Graham
  6. Taken from a jazz bass, worked absolutely great, I just prefer Bartolini. Comes with wiring diagrams, should just drop in and go! Works with 9v or 18v. Any questions I'll do my best to answer.

  7. This is an excellent pedal with very little use, wide range of tonal control. Comes with its own 15 volt power supply. Only selling as I use my Ampeg SCR pre amp which has a headphone out which I need.
  8. Unwanted present. Immaculate and never used.
  9. Exactly so, as above. The squared off neck socket pretty much prevents much comfortable higher neck playing. Also, with the original tuners, there is a bit of neck dive. Used mine for around twenty years quite happily with a variety of pick ups. Still gig it occasionally. Graham
  10. Hi Aiden, Yes, that will be the next move. The neck is a joy to play.
  11. Finally made it Dave.
  12. Just sold my Mike Lull JT5 to Chris in one of the deals you could only dream about. Communication, payment and clarity were all A+++. Chris even sent me a packing case and arranged for collection and return the next day. Gone are the days of meeting in motorway service areas in the pouring rain trying to read the figures and passwords on my banking app, I've seen the light! Many thanks again Chris, hope the JT5 makes a good bedfellow for your custom Mike Lull. A great Basschatter.
  13. Thanks fretmeister. 👍👍👍
  14. I'm looking to exchange one of my five string basses for a four string version. Hopefully no money changing hands. Which forum is suitable for this sort of deal? Thanks, Graham
  15. Yup, mine's stringed b to g, and more usable in my opinion. You have the choice of course. This one is in beautiful condition, and complete - unlike mine, which isn't for sale. This one is an investment. GLWTS.
  16. Hi, Have just got a Fender Custom Shop Jazz bass four string and have strung it BEAD. All's well. Thanks for your concern, my Basschat name gives you a clue to my age! 😂
  17. Here we have a beautiful, and close to showroom condition, Mike Lull JT5 five string bass. Only reason for sale is arthritis in my left wrist which is forcing me to return to four string basses - even then it's hard work! 👎 This was handmade in USA and is passive. It is fitted with Mike Lull's take on the Thunderbird type pickups which give great tone, pots are vol vol tone. The scale is 35" and there are 24 frets. Body is swamp ash (beautiful three tone sunburst finish), the neck is one piece maple and graphite reinforced and has a lovely maple fingerboard. Bone at nut is 1. 7/8 inches. It is fitted with Hipshot tuners and bridge. Due to covid the bass has had little use so the finish is still really excellent. I don't have sound clips, but they exist on You Tube. The weight is stated to be 3.9k but it feels lighter to me and is very comfortable on the shoulders and easy to play. I can't add too much more - the pictures reveal all! I would prefer a face to face meet up and would travel a reasonable distance to deliver. Any questions please ask. You're welcome to come and try it in Bournemouth. I've jut added a few more pics to show the excellent condition of the bass. Neck socket and rear of neck in particular.
  18. I'm sure this deserves a bump? First bass I've put up which hasn't raised a single question!
  19. I've just bought a lovely Fender Custom Shop Jazz bass from Andrew, and couldn't be happier! Usual suspicious car park meet, good 4g signal, deal done in no time. We both had a bit of a drive to meet, but had a good chat about bands, gear, and the beautiful weather.😃 Good communications throughout and a pleasure to do business with Andrew. Well recommended Basschatter.
  20. How about that! Looks a beauty.
