This must be one of the best short scale (30") bass guitars on the market. It was originally designed for Garry Tallent from Bruce Springsteen's backing band, the E street band. This one was built by Stuart Spector in New York in November 2013. The RRP is currently £2,799 and best street price is around £2,200 so this must be a bargain. With a lightweight swamp ash body, a 3 piece graphite reinforced maple neck, pau ferro fingerboard, and 30 & 3/8 inch scale it is superbly easy to play. Electronics include Aguilar J pickups along with Aguilar OBP 3 band eq with 2 selectable mid frequencies which gives the bass a large range of useable tones. I bought this on Basschat a couple of months ago from Pestie (Mike), who bought it new from Bass Direct, and it's not been out of the house since.
