1. One could make a career of out the superb P-pickup alone on this great bass. How is this still here?
2. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
3.
The Pensa by a long shot!
Agreed!!
4. Hey. fretless thunderbass = thunderbuzz. The other type is the mvp/buzz, mvp5/pentabuzz. I got a 4-string thunderbuzz and it's a great instrument
5. I'd love to bring it back to Norway but with the norwegian 25% duty, it will be 937 GBP not counting shipping (which also is duty on) and duty handling. Bump!
6.
Really nice looking bass and a good price. If I hadn't ordered one just before this came up for sale I would have been seriously tempted by this. GLWTS.
Same here :/
7. Agreed that it i indeed a great configuration. Here is one I had made but later sold due to custom building another bass. It started as a Fender MiM 50's classic P. Picups are Nordstrand MM, and Wildepickups P-46 P. It sounded wonderful!
8. I have a little GAS for a Kubicki X-factor too, anyone got one like that for trade?
9. Hello, I aquired this bass recently in a trade but I really need to have one less string. Does any alembic owners want to trade their fiver ? Currently up for sale locally in Norway: http://www.finn.no/f...chQuery=Alembic Best regards
10. No interest, going to try selling it locally in stead.
11. I recently strung E-C too on a Warwick. It sounds phenomenal. The C sounds a bit thinner, but it's the nature of that string gauge. Maybe your amp settings and cab plays into it as well. It isn't really as bass string, the C. It's excellent for melodies, soloes or top string for chords. If you want a high note with fat on it, go high up on the D or G string. Totally different timbre, fortunately
12. Hi, anyone with some new streamlines lately? Contemplating buying a 5-string, any inspiration would be nice
