8. Hey there, I use an 828mk1 with cubase. I've had it working with cubase vst through sx and now studio, but I have a mac. Even still, I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be having the issues you're having. Can you give me any more details? craig
9. Hey there Tee, I have an 'Ampuilar' rig, consisting of and Aguilar Ag500sc and an Ampeg classic 2x10 and 1x15. even tho the aguilar is 'only' 500 watts there's more than enough power there for my needs. The sound is a great marriage of sheer power from the Aggie and ampeg beef from the cabs. The Aguilar is tonally verstaile but it mainly excels in getting the sound of your bass to the speakers without changing it's fundamental character. I'd recommend it! craig
10. Hi, Would you be interested in selling the footswitch seperately? thanks, craig
11. Yeah give it a whack, it's nice surprise for folks if they have compatible players. I remember seeing the titles for a Christina Aguilera album come up on a kenwood hi fi, so it's possibly more widespread then we think.
12. I'd be interested in the sight reading and r&b bass masters books...any info? would you recommend them for a medium-advanced player? cheers, craig
13. Thanks guys, I'm pretty sure one of the first things you hear are the keys....! Recording is a great way to guage how much practice you still need to do! c
14. Hey guys, First post in the 'new bassworld' forum, very nice! just a clip of a new idea I've been working on, still in its infancy but has some potential i reckon. The main chord sequence is tapped but got some help from my keyboard player friend for the piano part as I didn't want it to be a 'tapping feature'. Chords are on the Dolphin with the melody played on the funkmeister, both are straight DI from Aguilar with some dbx compression and some plug in delay effect on the melody. Ruff garageband recording but any comments welcome! cheers, craig http://media.putfile.com/New-song-idea-32
15. All in all a sterling piece of work Garry! Lovely organic sounds, the solid performances are treated sympathetic to the genre to give a convincing set of tunes. Perhaps a more 'woody' bass tone would help solidify the low end a bit, but only a small quip. cheers! craig
