2. Thanks for that guys, not sure myself did wonder wether it's because it's the 6 ohm version, but i don't know or more that the quality of the lightweight cabs now available are making the big rigs harder to sell.
3. Bump, please someone take this off my hands, really needs to go so make me an offer cheers steve
4. Some joker on ebay has just messaged me after the end of the auction offering me 130 quid for this claiming that ebay is an honest place and as it hasn't sold then it can't be worth 200 quid, no prizes for guessing my reply. Mr Warwickhunt you have a pm see what you think. cheers steve

12.
Wow, that is such a nice bass. If i had £600 to hand it would be a sin not to take that off your hands. Unless of course you fancy trading it for a 92 fender Jazz....i doubt it. Good luck with that sale matey!
13. Thanks for that Nick yes Manchester is only 25 minutes from here,
14. Thanks for that it is really unusual i just can't find the sound i want out of it maybe i'm just weird
15. I bought this recently off Nick ( Old Horse ) Murphy it is the one that was originally white that he had refinished in a metallic amber colour. Anyway had this about 6 weeks and i can just not really get on with it, so have decided to move it on It has a 3 band EQ and Gold Hardware and comes with a new Gator hardcase. Have to say photos do not do it justice however am aware the colour may not be to everyones taste. Anyone who has dealt with Nick will know the quality of his basses this is no different it is in mint condition,( see his post further down ) sorry can't accept trades as cash is required for Beerdragons Lakland BG which i agreed to buy after this was bought buy it now on ebay, the buyer messed up the paypal payment said he was sorting it out now 2 weeks later is ignoring me and i haven't been able to contact him for over a week so have cancelled the deal on ebay . So this needs to go quickly am looking for around 600 quid but may listen to offers so try me out Sold Again on Ebay would you believe pending collection. cheers steve

19. Just to say just picked up my 2 new warwick neos off ste yet another top bloke to deal with on bass chat, perhaps if i met some bad guys it would save me cash. Once again thanks ste for a nice smooth deal and best of luck with te Glastonbury gig. cheers steve
20. I use a Lakland Skyline BG is my main bass also have a stingray 3eq
21. I have to admit to my shame that having gone to grammar school i played the southern softie version ( no offence meant) though i did play proper rugby for the civil service. The facilities in union were better ie there was a clubhouse and a bar and we got to travel round the country on nice coaches getting very drunk, and occaisionally you found brown envelopes in your boots. Have to admit to being a better rugby player than bassist ! although that's not saying much. When younger used to think it wa the ultimate buzz now wish i'd discovered the bass sooner maybe would have kept me out of trouble and the divorce court eh.
22.
I never knew you played Rugby Steve. Was it the proper kind or the Northern "lite" version? (Covers head and cowers from the blows)
23. It's a possibility although i am on call from work that weekend so will depend on how busy it gets. cheers steve
24. Morning all Have been a member for a while now and have bought and sold a few items so thought maybe its about time i introduced myself. Started playing bass or should i say messing around on one when my unspectacular rugby career came to a halt due to old age and a dodgy back, was badly self taught until about 6 months ago when i decided to get some lessons and my bass tutor pointed me in the direction of basschat and introduced the world of gas to me and my bank balance has sufered badly ever since currently play in a covers band " Imposter" ( because we are definitely not the real deal ) " At the moment my gear consists of Lakland Skyline Bob Glaub Musicman stingray 3eq ( bought from old horse murphy ) Ampeg svt 3( bought from Thunderthumbs ) Warwik 611 pro( bought from Tonyf ) Ashdown mag 410 and on friday am picking up 2 warwick neos bought from ste in fact as you can see most of my current gear is a result of dealings on here, have found everyone i have dealt with really great and extremely helpful, and i have got some really useful info out of the forum about all things bass, long may it continue. anyway thats enough inane babble for the time being cheers steve
