I bought this recently off Nick ( Old Horse ) Murphy it is the one that was originally white that he had refinished in a metallic amber colour. Anyway had this about 6 weeks and i can just not really get on with it, so have decided to move it on It has a 3 band EQ and Gold Hardware and comes with a new Gator hardcase. Have to say photos do not do it justice however am aware the colour may not be to everyones taste. Anyone who has dealt with Nick will know the quality of his basses this is no different it is in mint condition,( see his post further down ) sorry can't accept trades as cash is required for Beerdragons Lakland BG which i agreed to buy after this was bought buy it now on ebay, the buyer messed up the paypal payment said he was sorting it out now 2 weeks later is ignoring me and i haven't been able to contact him for over a week so have cancelled the deal on ebay . So this needs to go quickly am looking for around 600 quid but may listen to offers so try me out Sold Again on Ebay would you believe pending collection. cheers steve

I have to admit to my shame that having gone to grammar school i played the southern softie version ( no offence meant) though i did play proper rugby for the civil service. The facilities in union were better ie there was a clubhouse and a bar and we got to travel round the country on nice coaches getting very drunk, and occaisionally you found brown envelopes in your boots. Have to admit to being a better rugby player than bassist ! although that's not saying much. When younger used to think it wa the ultimate buzz now wish i'd discovered the bass sooner maybe would have kept me out of trouble and the divorce court eh.
I never knew you played Rugby Steve. Was it the proper kind or the Northern "lite" version? (Covers head and cowers from the blows)
