1.
Ahh, yet more of my old gear! Great guy to do business with, and both cabs are really very good. Especially the 15!
cheers ste if i remember rightly you sold these and bought a schroeder did you not, it would appear i'm following in your footsteps spooky eh ! yes they are great cabs but we are gigging a lot more now and i really want something that fits easily in the boot but with enough power to be a stand alone in any venue. which schroeder did you have can't remember ?
  2. i have decided i want to go to a one cab solution and am looking to purchase a new schroeder cab, however i need to offload these first so i thought i would see if anyone is interested. Warwick 115 neo pro 8 ohms 400 watts rms rated vented cab weight 21KG's and a Warwick 112 neo pro 8ohms 300 watt rated vented cab with HF horn weight 17kg. bought these from ste m3 on here about 9 months ago, have been gigged but not pushed. Both cabs are in excellent condition the 15 has a couple of scratches on the front but it's only a slight cosmetic issue. Pics of the 12 now attached will get 15's pics tomorro prices 115 now200 quid posted/delivered 112 now 150 delivered/posted 350 delivered posted for the pair feel free to pm me with any questions and i will try to answer bearing in mind i am a technical idiot. cheers steve

  4. Thanks all am beginning to think the schreoder 21012 or 1212 may be the answer although have just been looking at the 21015 not exactly lightweight but not massively heavy or overbig, anyone had any experience of one of these. As it could be the answer i'm looking for or would i get enough bottom end out of the 21012. cheers steve
  5. Thanks for the info fellas i'm quite open minded when it comes to make just that i've heard good things about epifani in terms of weight and output, would be more than interested in any other suggestions, guess i want something that will give me plenty bottom end without losing definition if that makes sense. cheers steve
  6. Hello folks at the present i run an SVT 3 Pro through 2 warwick neo cabs 1x15 and 1x12 and wilst these are good cabs and relatively easy to transport, i am looking to get to a one cab setup and neither of these cabs fits the bill on their own for me. Everything i have read about Epifani cabs seems to have been positive just wondered if anyone on ere could point me in the direction from experience of what would be best suited to my needs, looking for a 4ohm cab easy to transport due to my dodgy back. Just for info i play in a covers band that covers most stuff from led Zep to Mowtown and i play either a lakland bg or Dj strung generally with flats. We gererally di everything but would also like something that could be used as a stand alone as and when reqired. looked at the ul310 or possibly 410. would appreciate any advice/experience people have or any other cabs you would recommend. cheers steve
  7.
Are Laklands good? I have never tried one,Some guys trying to swap me at the moment.Do you think the name will last?
i have had 3 now 2 Bob Glaubs and a Darryl Jones and personally i think they are far superior to Fenders IMHO, however i guess this is all down to personal taste, the build quality, playability and tone on all mine have been superb. What model have you been offered ?
  8. Carl bought my Bob Glaub transferred the cash within 2 hours of agreeing the deal, absolute gent to deal with, totally painless transaction ! Hope you enjoy the bass carl cheers steve
  9.
I love the Lake Placid Blue, for me the best colour for a DJ. Stick a white pearl plate on it from Jeannies and your laughing.
thats the plan mate in fact just about to order one steve
  10. Wondered what had happened to Minchella and White when i saw Weller at Blackpool earlier this year, all has now become clear. great rythym section may be worth a trip
  11.
It's just gone I think I'll put a little extra cash in and get a Mex P
when i was in PMT picking up my DJ i looked at the new range of vintage squiers the P's looked awesome, really well built and sounded good , some cool finishes as well ! as opposed to the usual black and sunburst , just a touch over 200 quid may be worth a look mate.
  12.
Superb gear mate. My DJ was outstanding, I hope Ray's happy with it. I just couldn't resist another Stingray to replace it. It really doesn't get much better than Lakland IMO.
Cheers for that Russ only found out about Laklands through Basschat and have been a convert ever since my aim is to one day get a US BG in white/maple like the one on the Lakland website, if only they weren't nearly 2 grand eh. was offered a couple of black/maple DJ's by guys on here at great prices but just didn't fancy another black one and must say it was worth the extra for the blue and i got a good deal at PMT as it happens.
  13.
It's not B, it's BWB - trust me, that thin strip of white stands out better than most photos show. In the case of my Bronco, the nice shiny lipstick pickup I plan to put in it will certainly jump out
Black/white/black for me to, got one on the BG
  14.
Had a play on a DJ exactly like yours today at GAK in Brighton and sounded fantastic!
I know what you mean Nik, i have been really impressed with mine, has sort of restored my faith in Jazz basses as i have been playing precisions for a while now but i fear this may replace the BG as my main bass. cheers steve
  15. Got my new Lakland DJ yesterday so i thought i'd post a pic along with my remaining BG Had 2 BG's before as i had an aversion to Jazz basses due to the size of the body and weight of fender i used to have, however this is fantastic, smaller body nice and light feeling with a neck to die for ,can't wait to throw some flats on it. chers steve

  19. This needs to move as i have seen it's replacemant and need the cash quickly so price reduction to 500 quid and i'll throw in the hardcase cheers steve
  20. Thanks for that Pete SVT's still going strong mate best 350 quid i've spent in a long while. cheers steve
  21.
Niiiiiiice.
cheers Russ will be a wrench to sell but i have GAS for DJ either like yours or in white/maple !! steve
  22. As i have 2 of these i have decided to put this one up for sale to fund the purchase of another bass. As it says in the title it is a Lakland BG skyline series, i imported this bass from bass central in florida last january and since then has only been gigged occaisionally as i tend to use my other one. I did trade this to Nick ( Old horse murphy ) but bought it back within 2 weeks. The bass has not been modded at all so is the original lakland spec. The bass is in immaculate condition as i'm sure Nick will testify and the neck is as good as any i have played however not sure i need 2 identical basses. the only trade i would really be interested in is a Lakland DJ 4 string. i am looking for 550 quid ono plus postage and for this will include decent gig bag and original white pickguard. Or 600 quid ono if you want the original lakland hardcase instead of the gigbag. thanks for looking steve
