Unfortunately a bit out of my price range at the mo
Best of luck! -
We're lucky enough to have songs coming thick and fast, and in my opinion getting better every time.
If you haven't already, pop over to dresdenmusic.com see if you like what's there
Thanks again! -
Thanks very much mate, cheers for giving it a watch
We are trying to get a video a month made this year, dunno if we will manage, but definitely gonna try! -
Bump to the top for your viewing pleasure
-
Great videos, what were they shot on?
-
New song just recorded, thought we would make a little video to go with, just filmed on my phone and edited to fit.
If you like it, please share it anywhere you can, the more views the better! Thanks folks

What are these massive differences?
[/quote]
As Dom in Somerset pointed out, the first and biggest difference is gonna be your neck scale length, one is short, one is long. Depends which you like best.
I have an SG at home and feel that it's short scale neck is really quick and easy to get around. By comparison my main gigging and recording bass is a 5 string jazz so they both feel totally different!
Pickups again are a significant difference between the 2 basses you are looking at, so it really comes down to what you like.
Can't get any better advice than to try as many as you can, see what YOU like. Taking time to try them out will pay off for you in the end. -
Bump to top.
Had a sale sorted, but fell through.
-
The SG's are surprisingly light, far lighter than Epiphone EB0's. But as said above, there are some massive differences between your two options, so just have a play of a few, see what feels right.

Big price drop -
Selling loads of stuff, Xmas has knacked me! -
He has indeed
-
Sold! Cheers all off to a very good home!
-
I use mine to play my bass through my Nintendo
-
That was quick! Time to flog mine!
-
So many people just after a Hot Hand!
Unfortunately for you all, I'm not looking to split them, cheers for the interest though! -
BUMP!
Back up for sale as it still hasn't been used since I withdrew it and Xmas has hit harder than an alcoholic stepfather -
The best tip I ever got when I owned an SVT-3 Pro = Gain on full at all times and work from there.
Never ever had volume qualms. -
Haha, cheers, most of my sales tend to be 'reluctant' ones, prob why most things tend to hang around, not get sold, get withdrawn, then get relisted again at a later date...
-
Up again now just cos of Xmas funds needed
Now has a black hipshot bridge that cost me about £90 which is miles better than the standard Gibson bridge, set up by Steve Robinson here in manchester, and it plays amazing.
Only selling this cos it's my play at home bass rather than a gigging bass, so it's first to go up for sale when dough is needed.
I won't be sad at all if it doesn't sell, but the wife says I should try -
Yeah, the Class D Matamp prototype is tiny!
-
First proper amp I ever owned, and never ever let me down, even after literally being thrown around.
I'm always tempted when these come up, even though I don't really need it. A workhorse of an amp for whoever buys it!! -
I found my love for the Novation Bass Station through a great band I was into a few years back, called 'Peace Burial at Sea', (since split up, believe a few people are in a band called 'Ghosts of Old Berlin' now)
The Bass Station was on my radar cos of Radiohead, but it was these guys who made me want one. -
There was an Gibson SG not too long back. I traded for it, I love it, and then it gt even nicer when I put a hipshot bridge on.
Someone buy this so I don't start thinking I need another!

My matamp gt200 sounds awesome into my barefaced compact, no problems driving it at all.
