I love mine, it's the first 5 string I've had though, and first jazz, so hard to make any helpful comparisons really!

Isn't the one that has vintage looking pickups just dodgy guitar pick ups slapped in it?

I quite fancy one of these... not the dodgy pick up ones...

I would rather not to be honest, the cab is massive and heavy, I dread to think how much it would cost, and how I would begin to pack it safely enough...

I bet it would be cheaper for you to have a day trip and drive over.

I reckon that basschat is a small portion of bass players, I've been playing about 15 years and have only joined this place this year.

I do see some nice gear out in Manchester at times but I thinknwhen most gigs mean sharing gear, folks are less likely to turn up with their best gear for everyone else to use.

I cringe when I have seen people popping their lead out without muting it, and hear my amp making all sorts of buzzing and crackling

Sounds a good choice to me, it will keep a bit of that orange sound that you obviously must like from your ad200b.

I'm only over in Manchester and have just got myself a Matamp GT200 and 6x10, and also have a Barefaced Compact, so if you ever wanna pop over and have a play before you pay out your dosh on any of it, feel free!

It is a gorgeous cab, would love to keep it... would be a bit overkill for me though, cos here is a pic of the one and only reason its up for sale -

Well, had a top little day out at Matamp today, a mate of mine had a play of one of a GT1 guitar amp whilst Andrew finished off my head. He loved it, and now he hates me for taking him cos he is skint.

I had a pot put in for the drive instead of the 4 stage selector like Ste has had on his. The drive you can get out of this thing is fantastic!

The day turned out far more expensive than originally planned, as they had found some more of the same green tolex taht was used on my head, so of course after a bit of umming and ahhing and chatting to Jeff, I went and pulled the trigger on a matching 6x10, possibly to be picked up tomorrow Just don't tell my wife!!

So that means I'm now about to try and flog everything, so my Ampeg 6x10 is now going up for sale too! Possibly my Orange Terror Bass 500 too...

I love this amp.

Only flogged my SVT3 less than a week ago and miss it a bit already... Great amps I reckon, dunno why some people give them a rough ride.

AAaarrrgh, this has totally made me want this pedal now Will it never end?!

I also use these, out of about 10 I had two serious duffers though, where the jack fell off inside a pedal, which I then had to perform surgery on

Would still prob recommend though.
