Is there a daisy chain left? I'll have it if there is. Cheers.

No worries, think I already did

MI Audio Pollyanna does +1 Octave clean.

Doh indeed! The recklessness of youth eh!
Popped round Martins today to give him the Squier... It was like xmas, he should have a big white beard and a red suit. I didn't want anything for the bust up bass, but he wouldn't let me leave empty handed, and I left with a goodie bag full of stuff!
Been playing with the iRig already mate Cheers again for that lot! Top bloke. -

Lovely! I had a white one once, got set on fire and smashed in the late '90's, hated it at the time, couldn't stand short scale, but ive changed my view since then, and regretted it ever since!

That looks
+++ AWESOME +++ -
And GONE, to the man down the road!
-
Yeah it is nice for droney stuff, or just filling out a sound under a bassline. think I'm gonna flog it though cos you can do similar with the hold setting on the DD-6

So its just been sat around for years now, but I have this here Squier Precision, Korean, and the serial number says built by the Cort factory in '94. I put a push to break switch in at some point.
Its generally battered, as its been thrown numerous times, set on fire, sanded, smacked around stages etc. and it only finally gave up the ghost, when convinced that it wouldn't break, I took a big metal chair to it... it broke.
Headstock snapped, as can be seen, but as far as I know from when it was last used, the pickups still work and all that, I cannibalised the knobs at some time, but I'm sure that some of the parts can be of use to someone?
Any how, it's here, it's free if you want it, at the very least, its some pickups and a body for someone, just get in touch if you can come and pick it up!
Cheers,
Si.

Totally off topic, listened to your band last week, love it!

Just gonna add a video for anyone who hadn't heard Black Moth -

Have a well deserved "Used to own and love this amp" bump!

Quite fancy a nice Precision at the mo, if anyone fancies a trade... Gonna post this on my Gibson SG sale thread too...
-
When I saw Black Moth in Leeds not long ago, I noticed the bassist has some custom looking long scale SG style bass with no volume or tone controls. Looked awesome in my opinion. He only used it for the last song though...

Unless you specifically want another head, I'm sure should the worst happen, you could loan one, either from another band, or from anyone local to your gig on here.
I'm one to talk though, I've got 3 at the mo bad spendthrift me. Naughty. -
As I'm selling my GT10b, this is how I'm having a go of my pedals for the moment - Gonna see how it goes, only effect I am missing that I use is a Slicer for the mo...
-
I followed this for a DIY board one time -

It's cheap and cheerful! -
Thanks everyone, now been sold on eBay.
-
Ha, cheers, I love it, I just don't need all the basses I have at the mo
-
Someone should buy this, it's wasted in my front room! Might try and take a couple more pics with the hipshot bridge if I remember.
-
Yeah I have one, what I do to get the effect your on about is place the freeze after my boss ps6, and use the dive bomb kind of effect to release a note from the 2 octaves down to rise into the note I want to come from the freeze, so each transition has a kind of 'tape winding up' sound into each note, rather than having an attack at the start... If you get what I mean...
A decent mod in my opinion would be to control the wet/dry mix with an expression pedal. -

instead of turning off the dry signal, couldn’t just stop playing or turn down the bass volume?

I wondered this, I'm intrigued, what would've benefits of that mod be? -
Depends who you're on with to be honest, it's on oldham street in the northern quarter and is a very established venue.
Probably depending on the local band to pull a crowd though really...
What's your band like? Got a link? If im off work
When you play I'll pop down...

One of the few basses I regret selling - bought in the late 90s for £99 (new), I should have hung onto this one! Great, lightweight bass to play.

That's just like the one I had, oh the regrets!
