  1. PRICEDROP TO £350

Selling my Orange OBC115, full flightcased, recovered in Green Tolex to go with my Green head and 6x10.

These are £539 new, plus flightcase cost £180, and it cost me a decent chunk to have it retolexed in Green, so this can be a hefty saving if it's what you're after!!

Selling as I just have too many cabs at the mo, with less and less space to keep them.

    Orange OBC115 1x15 Bass Cab (500w)
Features: 18mm high density birch ply, 2 x parallel ¼" and Speakon input jacks, skid design feet.
    Power Handling: 400 Watts
    Speakers: 1 x Eminence Kappa 15
    Impedance: 8 ohm
    Unboxed Dimensions: H (cm) 52, W (cm) 62, D (cm) 46.5
    Unboxed Weight: 29.5kg

Based in Middlesbrough. Any questions just ask! Cheers.

  2. We've got a good festival slot booked for 2015, our first, so I too will be watching this thread for any pointers, I think I'm fine and have everything thought of, but obviously it's the things that I don't think of that will get me ;) lol

Excellent, I'm genuinely happy for you :) I've been feeling the guilt of not selling it back for a long time now! :D enjoy!

Spent the weekend trying to sort out my studio rig, live I've covered but my studio setup I like to run 3 channels.

    Clean straight from the bass
    An amped/slightly gritty sound
A full on distortion sound generally done from a tall font Russian muff into a tech 21 gt2 clone

So I've managed to do this with the sonic port, moving forward I'm still considering an interface with more outs but I can do this setup now using audiobus and auria the multi track recorder.

It's a great sound, jamup as my amp sound (or bias) and then ampkit for the super gritty tone and just drop a Di pre ipad for the clean sound, that said when recording using the ipad I can digitally split my signal as many times as I want and record clean, gritty, super distortion, synth and even pitch to midi on a soft synth on another channel. I only need the bigger interface if I wanted to output all of these.

More info in the blogs which I'll get done tomorrow night at latest.

So this solves anyone who requires a blended sound for their main tone, essentially digitally biamping or triamping, or hell octoamping (new word?)

Any chance of a blog that goes more in depth into how this is set up Ste? Cheers :)
