The standard HS is what I've been using, and still am, until that deluxe turns up, and it's fat, beefy, dirty and no problem with low end. I just think the clean blend will really open up the options, whereas at the mo I just like to use it as my big sound...

As everyone knows I am pretty vocal in my love for this pedal, as can be seen here -
http://basschat.co.uk/topic/246447-i-got-interviewed-by-gak-about-my-gear
Well, as I had two of these pedals now, and had always (as can be read above) wanted a clean blend on this, I decided to flog one of my them to upgrade to the Hail Satan Deluxe that they have been building for a little while now... It hasn't gone far, as my guitarist wanted it since he tried it out ages ago
It has a few extras - the all important clean blend, a buffer switch for clean signal boost, a switch to toggle between Green Russian or Creamy Dreamer types, a highs knob and top mounted input and outputs.
Really looking forward to getting hold of this, has anyone else got one or tried one yet?

Where are you based? You're welcome to give my Jazz V a blast, as I think the B is awesome on it...

If anyone knows of one, then let me know as I'd be interested in trying.

The Eventide Pitchfactor is amazing at it, but it's not a cheap pedal -
Aye, G30 does me!

The line 6 wifi ones are a crystal clear, miles ahead of anything else IMO and I have tried a fair few out

This. So good I bought 2. -
If possible have a play with one first, it doesn't sound that natural, but you may be happy with it... Wanna buy my practically unused one?
-
Yep, is the short answer. Some pedals aren't good enough to do it if you are wanting a natural sound though...
The Eventide Pitchfactor I use does this fantastically, I use it to go down to C, and love it.
The Mooer Pitchbox I have does it as well, but you can really hear the difference between the quality of the two! -
Swap you for your Orange one? haha
-
Price drop to £350 as have other cabs I'm after...
-
I feel very lucky to be one of the people who have never had any reliability issues with the PF500!
-
I can't say that I would ever even consider paying the prices for a CS Fender, if I was dropping that sort of money there are far more exciting basses in my opinion!
I own a 2010 American Jazz Deluxe V and its gorgeous, and also a '79 Precision that I love. I don't think you can make such a sweeping generalisation as all Fenders after a certain year suck... bit silly that. -
-
I think cutting back on models and just streamlining the range would be a very good idea, but as long as they don't follow Gibson and slap on a 30% price increase as well!
-
I love my '79 Precision, that has also had a change of bridge (to a Badass) and a Seymour Duncan SPB1, so if its anything like that, this might be a keeper, even for you Congrats!
-
Just gonna bump this, one sale legitimately fell through, another had a comedy story attached where I got messed about, and then I forgot to keep bumping...
Would also trade for an Orange Terror Bass 500 if anyone fancied a change? -
Well cos of all this talk I had to go and put some old flats back on my spare P bass for a play around
-
Thanks for giving it a watch

Ah! Thanks for the info!
The Hail Satan Deluxe sounds just like what my church band need for our Christmas Psalms concert series.

There was a limited 'Praise Jesus' version at one point, for christians who were offended by the Satan stuff hahaha
And another thing... I find the interviewer's beard a bit disturbing.
Joe was a really nice guy! He plays bass in a cool band called Polymath...

Great video/interview - I worried for your lovely P getting chucked around so much
Cheers man, I did watch this back and think wouldn't it be funny if I'd have dropped it, but it gets worse onstage, so it's cool -

That's it, now. I'm going to spend the rest of the day answering questions with and saying nothing but, 'Hail Satan Muff!!'
... I'll let you know how I get on.
Haha, it's a lifestyle choice let me know how it goes!
Just spotted that there's a sale on at the mo, 12% off with the code "baby"... I really fancy the Deluxe HS and his Unholy Grail delay :/ No spare cash damn it! -

Ha! You've been found out, lad! Your name is Simon! Oh, yes. Don't even imagine I could overlook that!
I enjoyed that from start to finish. Thanks for sharing!
Is the pedal called "Abominable"? In case: great name!
Thanks for watching!
Yeah it's an Abominable Electronics Hail Satan Muff... I liked it so much I ended up buying two!

I really wanna get hold of the deluxe version that he does now with a clean blend and the green russian/creamy dreamer toggle switch.

I would take this but I am getting my gt200mk1 sent back from America so I will have mine back again. GT200mk1's are the best bass amps of all time.
Do you prefer mk1 to mk2's then? I haven't had a chance to play with a mk2 yet...
