The B3K is amazing, it's been my must have overdrive for a few years now.
Rather than take my word for it though, feel free to have a go of it sometime, since we're local and all that! It's not necessarily everyone's sound, but it is definitely what I was looking for, and I've seen more lovers than haters. -
Hey man, welcome to Basschat. I'm another One from Boro on here as well
-
Excellent stuff mate, and well done!
-
I used to like Metallica... that video really does nothing for me.

I had a no name one from a guitar shop for years, and it lasted a reasonable time, but as I got more pedals it must have felt the strain and just stopped working.
After that I got a Dr. Tone PSU10 power supply, and that just went up in smoke (literally) the first time I plugged it in, which I realised must have been to do with my pedals and the load.
Once I had ventilated my room, and the smoke had cleared, I contacted Shep on here and he gave me some great advice, and I ended up running everything from a Diago Powerstation, and had no problems since! -
If you want that kind of thing, have a look at the MI Audio Pollyanna as well! That has -2, -1, +1, and a very unique almost bit crushed type sound.

Still for sale, or still looking for a part ex with either a nice maple necked precision or an Orange 410. Cheers!

I'm pretty sure Joes Pedals site used to have a little disclaimer/warning about it not being too good with tracking bass... I've never used one though, so someone else might have a better idea.

Any pics with the amp in it? Cheers

can't we put this in a sticky somewhere? I'd also like a copy...

Yes please, or a copy please -
I find carpet gets really scruffy looking. I use heavy duty velcro on everything

We play QOSA ...No One Knows ... In drop C tuning and it sounded great ...

The Kemper has the pitchshift built in? That's cool. I use a Eventide Pitchfactor to play in C at the mo. -

But I bet it wouldn't play as well, sound as good or be a reasonable weight!

I'm biased as I own a lovely '79 that plays great. It is heavy, but I like that.

Nice, but I prefer this one (and its cheaper!)
That is nice as well, I'm a fan of maple boards though, so if it came with that, then yeah, maple with blocks and binding ideally! mmmm... -
Definitely less than that. It's be cheaper to get a 70's P and get it refinished purple
-
I'm a total sucker for purple!

WOW! Love it. Would never buy it though, that's a hefty price tag! -
I'm really interested in a Kemper, but the thing that puts me off a bit, Is I don't feel I would have the facility to profile amps as well as people seem to.
Ace from skunk Anansie recently profiled all of his, but everyone seems to get set up in full on professional studios to do it. -
But the frequency of purple ones turning up saves me from myself, and it sounds even their custom shop would be unwilling to just make sure I got a purple with black scratchplate with maple/maple neck... which i'm pretty sure is a rare production model anyways o.O ....
Just gonna leave this here
-
So tempted by the darkglass...
-
If I had the money I would go for a tolexed Retro six10 to stand next to my Barefaced Vintage
-
Doug and Darkglass will always get my business. This all seems very shady from 3leaf really. WIll it be long until they release their 'own' B3K do you think?
-
Is there nobody out there with a nice maple necked precision to trade?
-
Darkglass B3K and Abominable Electronics Hail Satan Deluxe for me.

Have you looked on Thomanns website? That seems an obvious start to me ;-)

of course not, I wish for everything to be handed to be on a plate!
