1. Hope nobody minds but i've changed the price as lots of people have been messaging me saying I'm ripping myself off with this one.
2. Paul do you want this one? I've checked my messages again and havent had anything from you. Only about the DP 127. If you could message me that'd be great.
3. Badass II (Chrome) - £30 (inc. Postage) I'm selling a used Badass Bridge. These are great bridges, fender even use it themselves on some models. The one i'm selling has been used and has some wear on it. I think it will hold out, but a couple of grub screws may need replacing in the near future. These only cost a couple of pounds anyway. I won't be able to send this out until 2/12/13 or send you any photos until 1/12/13 as I'm currently working. Thanks for any interest! look forward to any response! Cheers, Mike. Price has been changed as many people have said I'm ripping myself off - now £30 (including postage).
4. DiMarzio DP127 Split-P - SOLD £25 (inc. Postage) SOLD This is basically a humbucker pick up built in to the tiny P bass style pick up. Once again it has been used and there is some noticeable wear on the plastic, but is still in full working order. The model i'm selling is the Black plastic version. More about it here: http://www.dimarzio....rd-bass/split-p Please note that I will not be able to send out until the 2nd Dec 2013 onwards and can't send you any photo's until 1st Dec as i'm out working until then. Thanks for any interest. Look forward to hearing from anyone! Cheers!
5. I'm selling the following: DiMarzio DP146 Will Power - SOLD £25 (inc. Postage) SOLD This is the old Billy Sheehan model. It's been used and there is some noticeable wear on the plastic. It's still in full working order and sounds exactly as it should. For anyone who doesn't know, this is a direct P bass replacement pick up. More about it here: http://www.dimarzio....ll-power-middle Thanks for any interest. 13. Hi, This sounds interesting and i'm liking the songs. Something different to add to my portfolio too! I would like to get involved if possible? Do you have bass parts written or would I have to crate them myself? Here are some tracks that i recorded last year. I have just recorded on a more up to date metal album so i can send you over some tracks of my playing if you want to hear more http://soundcloud.com/mikegrovesmusic/devils-eyes-craig-wright http://soundcloud.com/mikegrovesmusic/another-day-craig-wright I hope to hear from you! 14. Hi Everyone, Here is a link to my Youtube channel. Just some covers here. looking to get more done soon and make a habit of doing so. some of the stuff old and i've re-uploaded it cause youtube blocked it. This brings me to another question. Does anyone get there videos they post blocked? most of mine come up with matched third party content and get blocked in certain places some of them world wide :/ does anyone know why mine get blocked and other peoples covers of the same song can be viewed? Anyway I would appreciate if anyone could take the time to listen to some of the stuff. Feedback would be great (as there are many, many pro's on here) Thanks http://www.youtube.com/TheMikegroves1
15. are you wanting to learn all aspects of theory? chords, scales etc. I'd suggest looking at the LCM grades, it's pop music theory more suited to us bass players, although i wouldnt rule out the classical stuff. if you go with ABRSM its all classical. I'd suggest anything you learn to apply to the instrument it was the quickest way for me to learn scales etc. and it really helps with general improvements to your playing http://www.popularmusictheory.org/ this website will lead you to the books and they have all the info in them as well as worksheet exercise things to put the theory into practice. I did my Grade 8 theory last year and come september i'll be training as a music teacher so if you need any help or tips feel free to get in touch
16. Hi Everyone, I know that everyone is looking for work constantly and there is loads of competition but if you need a bass player I'm here I'm trying to do as many gigs as possible over the summer as i have loads of spare time. My function band takes up pretty much every saturday, but im free most fridays and all of the week days for your bass playing needs!! Got all my own gear and a car, so within reason I can travel. Currently based in the midlands by the M6 (sort of) so i can get anywhere really. I Will play any style and i can improv if needs be. I also have an in date passport and CRB check. I'll also throw in some BV's for free if you hire me today Email: [email protected] Thanks! M
17.
Have a look on ebay. I insure with Allianz. Very good company - I use their litigation insurance too and they pay up when they are supposed to. Can't ask for more than that!
thanks for the advice.
18. Hi everyone, I need some advice about insuring my yamaha trb6p mk1. I have up to £2000 pounds cover with the MU and was wondering how much I should list the yamaha for? I don't know how much they cost when it was made as i was a 1 year old haha. I bought it for £900 from a fellow basschatter, but to get a replacement instrument of the same quailty i'm not sure how much i'd have to spend :S any advice on this would be great. Cheers!!
