1. I'm looking to move on my Barefaced Compact. It's an absolutely fantastic cab (easily the best I've owned so far). I'd originally intended to buy a Midget to go with it, but I've since decided I'd rather go for a one-cab solution. As such, I'd be looking to trade this for a Barefaced Super Twelve (the tweeter is a must, and I'd rather have the silver cloth too, but I suppose you can't be too picky). I'm aware that the Super Twelve is a bit more expensive than a Compact, so we can discuss a cash adjustment your way too. I'll get some photos up soon, but you all know what these look like (and it's in mint condition, not a ding on it). I'm also apparently required to include what I would value the cab at now. I'd value it at £500, considering they're £545 new (once you account for the silver cloth and the neodymium surcharge) and this is literally mint, and saves you the wait time (which as I understand it is pretty big right now, they must be fairly busy).
 2. http://s1145.photobucket.com/albums/o515/Ziphoblat/ New more detailed photographs available here that I've taken today with a better camera ready for putting the bass on eBay on Sunday if it doesn't sell here.
 3.
not interested?
PM'd, sorry mate, managed to miss your post somehow, slightly intoxicated last night.
 4. I'd rather keep it whole, but thanks for the offer... I think something like that could devalue both instruments considerably. Sure you couldn't learn to love the jazz neck?
 5. I'm looking to sell my USA Standard Jazz or trade it. It's a fantastic bass, I've owned it since new in 2010 (it's made in 2009). I'm the first owner, got it from Rich Tone in Sheffield (still have the receipt). I liked it so much that I bought another, and now feel that I'd like a little more variety. It's olympic white, has a red tort guard and a rosewood board (classic look). Comes with the original SKB case which is in pretty good nick (the odd scuff, but nothing that won't clean off, I'll probably do that). It also comes with all the original case candy, tags etc. The bass itself is in great condition, a bit of swirling on the scratchplate as you'd expect of a bass that's been played. Nothing else to note other than a tiny little knock on the side of the body (not visible from the front) smaller than a pea which doesn't break through the finish, just a slight indent. Apart from that it's mint! So, what I'd like is a P bass. I'm not really in a position to add cash to a deal at the moment, nor do I want to "downgrade" so something of equivalent value would be my ideal trade. A simple USA Standard P bass would be great. I'm not really massively keen on weird and/or wonderful finishes, I'd really rather it was just sunburst, black or white. Maple boards preferred but I'll consider rosewood too. But let me know what you've got, you never know. The other basses I'd consider would be more modern styled Jazz basses with maple boards... something like a Sandberg JM or a Lakland DJ... 4 strings is a must! EDIT: I'll take £700 cash for this for a limited time (while the bass I want is still available).
 6. Rick's back looks a bit shiny in that first picture, is that really a genuine fur coat?
 7.
•the fret work is decent ei well cut and not hanging over the edge of the fingerboard (mmmm like most new fenders...;P)
Not the place, I know, but my palm couldn't help but make contact with my face at this point.
 8.
Put some photos up for us to drool over
Photos will be coming up tomorrow, all being well.
Hi Ziphoblat Sounds exactly what I'm looking for, but I was hoping to trade this: http://basschat.co.u...sion-for-trade/ I'm not too far from Leeds though...
Thanks for the interest, unfortunately I'm not really after a P-bass at the moment, been down that road enough already, they just don't work for me. Cheers.
 9.
is it just EBMM's your looking for?
At the moment, yeah, unfortunately. It's fairly specific and a long shot, I know, but I have some GAS to satisfy.

 11. I don't have any pictures right now, but I'll get some up. Olympic White/Rosewood/Red tort USA Standard Jazz, made in 2008 bought new in 2010 by myself, great player, great condition. Has one small ding to the finish (that doesn't go through) on the side of the body which is barely visible and hidden from the front. Otherwise, top condition. Comes with all the case candy and the standard SKB hardcase. Based in Leeds. I'm looking for an EBMM Big Al bass, my preference would be for the three single coil pick-up configuration, and a maple board, but let me know what you've got. I'm willing to put some cash on the table too for the right bass. Cheers.

 15. I'm fairly sure I played this beast while it was in the shop. Fantastic instrument, can definitely recommend.
 16. I should also mention that I'm no longer interested in trades, just cash... I'd forgotten to edit the original post to reflect that, didn't realise until I received a couple of offers...
 17. eBay this Sunday if nobody takes it at this price over the next 2 days.
 18.
What Stingray is it?
http://basschat.co.uk/topic/161639-ebmm-usa-02-rosewood-3eq-stingray-price-drop This one.
