1. Nothing to do with anagrams of band members names, but I always wanted to call my last band "Luke Warm and the Radiators" I have no idea why....... .......we ended up being called SheerWater..... Go figure....Apparently it's a type of bird.
 2. A loop of bassists A mood of bassists Or quite often a perve of bassists.
 3. I also am interested in getting a 2x12 tecamp, based on reviews read. Would appreciate anyone's experiences with these too. Cheers.

 5.
None that I have found. I know several owners like myself who are very happy with them and have no plans to move them on. Using a pair effectively gives me a 4x12 but much lighter and easier to move than a single cab. I'm quite small but can carry a 1212L single handed without any problem. The latest ones have two front facing drivers. I have the ones which have one front facing driver and one angled plus a horn.
Thanks for pointing me towards these, they are ticking more boxes the more reviews I read.
 6. Does anyone know where I may be able to try some of the afore mentioned cabs north of Stafford? Or is this gonna have be a little bit of a 'ya pays ya money ya takes ya chance' as not everyone is as reasonable as Alex when it comes to trials and returns.
 7.
Schroeder 1210L or 1212L, if you can find one. I use a single 1212L, sometimes two, and they are light, loud and cut right through the mix. That is all.
Hadn't considered these obbm, off to their website for me, any downsides??
 8.
Hi GUI, personally, I think you need to find the right combination. What amp and bass are you using? I use a stingray 5 through a Mesa M6 or Orange Terror bass, into a Mesa 2x12 powerhouse, sounds great. I bought a BF compact and Midget T, the mesa M6 sounded lovely but the Orange Terror sounded horrible. All i'm saying is, what works for others might not be right for your set-up. You could email Alex at Barefaced with your current set-up, he's a top bloke and will give you some advice. The first thing he asked me was what bass and what amp. It's good If you can try before you buy, i know this is easier said than done. cheers thebassman
I agree, I'm currently using a trace ah-500, but this is gonna go with the rest of the rig. I have recently played through an SWR headlite and liked it for tone and portability, I've also had a look in to the GK MB fusion heads, but not had a chance to play with one. However I am also looking at the pre/poweramp options too, and seriously considering a bbe bmax pre with a bridged crown xls 1000, but think this maybe a little overkill for my needs and potentially rule out some great cabs on power handling..... Bass wise I have a Warwick Corvette (bubinga).
 9.
Hey GUI, I'm in Oxton too... I know it's not exactly what you are looking for, but I have a BF BigOne (now discontinued), so if you are interested in checking it out to get an idea of what the BF cabs are like, you are more than welcome to come and have a nosey sometime... Cheers, Neil
Hi mate, Thought I was the only one around here, would be great to come and have a nosey at the cab mate, I'll drop you a PM towards the end of the week to sort something out. Cheers.
 10. Have done a little more digging around the tecamp 212's and the reviews just seem to say that the S series is just a more compact version of the M and L series. Although they did say that it is a very high quality cab. Also it doesn't look like there are any UK dealers, that can't be right....can it?
 11.
Be warned (and Alex hates me for saying this.) BF took a lot longer than the quoted delivery time last year. Be prepared to wait twice as long. If you are OK with that, fine. If he disagrees, make him agree to knock money off for over-runs. Iv'e actually only played 2 shows with my Super 212t since my new band is very "coffee shop". I haven't got to grips with it. I wish that I had started with a 112. Modern amps and speakers have come a lot further than you might think.
Yes I did read a few posts from people who were waiting longer than they expected, however I'm not too concerned with a wait plus it'll give me a little longer to build the bank balance back up!
 12.
Played through a Vanderkley MNT1x12 recently and was very, very impressed. Really good sound dispersal so you can hear yourself and plenty of grunt. I'm sure 2 of 'em would be stonking. try em out if your headed to Bass Direct - don't think you'll be disappointed.
For sure, first heard these at a gig a couple of months ago, and was blown away by them, although I think they were the EXT ones not the MNT.
 13.
Bass direct pilgrimage, its not far really from the Wirral
In all honesty I may well end up doing so, there is proper naff all up this way in terms of any even remotely decent retailers.
 14.
Gotta have a tweeter? The speakers in the BF are reasonably bright.
No, don't necessarily need a tweeter at the minute, but that said I might in the future, so would happily have one and turn it down/off when not needed rather than not have one and need it at some point.
 15. Hi all, I'm after a little advice and opinion. I am downsizing from my current (2) 4x10's and am wanting a good lightweight 1-2 cab solution, have been looking at either a pair of 112's or a 2x12. Having read soooo much about the barefaced S12T I have this as the forerunner. However before I push the button on one, is there anything else that you could recommend? I have read the usual website bumpf on Bergantino, Vanderkley, Aguilar and I'm also quite intrigued by Techamp though I can't really tell much difference between the S, M, and L series 2x12 cabs So any info or experiences there would be much appreciated. I do tend to play all sorts but prefer blues and funkier styles. In terms of umpf required I am mainly playing medium size pub/club gigs but do have the loud practice to cope with an so am looking for some cabs that'll give it out as well as leave my back alone. Anyway, thanks to all in advance. Gui.

 17. +1 for the crown xls drivecore range, Crest also do some 'lightweight' power amps that are worth a look.
 18. Post six nations bump, Also open to trades for a six string bass, with some cash either way dependant on the bass.
 19.
Would you trade the head for a hartke hydrive 4x10 bass cab??
PM'd
 20. Hi all, Found this down on Page 17 bump. There must be some new year type interest. Cheers
