Hi all, Got this awesome 2005 Custom shop limited edition ‘58 P bass for sale. Bought this bass around 6 years ago and it is time to move it on. This one is a relic but I’d say that it’s not over the top like some Fender relics. In excellent condition as it has never been gigged. The hard case has little marks on it but nothing serious. All case candy and pickup/bridge covers are included. It weigts 4.1kg on my scales. Looking for £1950 for this beauty and no trades I’m afraid. I’m based in Oxfordshire and viewings are highly recommended. Cash on collection preferably but can be posted if need be. thanks for looking!
5. Thank you guys for all the tips. I already have two Mono bags for my other basses hence I am more incline towards it. Si - mine is a 34’’ scale flamboyant so the Mono should fit. Ambient - good to hear it fits well and looks like that I’ll go for the Mono guitar then.
6. Hi all, looking to get a gig bag for my Sei headless bass and was wondering if any of you guys might know if the Mono M80 guitar gigbag would fit? Or would I have to go for the bass version? Many thanks in advance!
7. Hi, the bridge string spacing is 74 mm. between string spacing is 19 mm. Cheers
8. Many thanks for uploading the pics onto the site. Yes they are indeed! Alas I'm not a fretless player..
9. For sale my beautiful Sei Bass Flamboyant. Acquired from this forum about 5 years ago and still in excellent condition. If you are looking at this you know how good these basses are. Specs are as follow: - Front and side green LEDs - 2 Bartollini active pickups and wide range EQ - 7 piece neck with Amboyna wood top - 34' scale - Ebony fingerboard I believe the bass started its life as a fretted instrument but the previous owner got it defretted. Selling as I am not a fretless player and I also have another Sei single cut. Pictures can be found here http://s42.photobucket.com/user/cayston/library/Sei Flamboyant Headless?sort=3&page=1 No Trades on the bass please. I am located in Abingdon. Viewings are highly recommended. Any questions please ask. Thanks for looking.
10. Ben just bought another bass from me. Easy and smooth transaction. Thanks Ben!
11. Hi all, Here for sale my beloved pre-factory Streamer Stage II 4 strings. This one is from 1989 and has one of the most comfortable necks I've every played on a Warwick. Low action and very resonant instrument. Has been serviced few months back. Great condition with few belt buckle marks on the back. No cracks or repairs on the bass, MEC pickups. Pics can be found here http://s42.photobucket.com/user/cayston/library/Cornell Clapton Amp/Warwick Streamer Stage 2?sort=3&page=1 Selling as I rarely play bass these days. No trades please. The bass can be viewed from Abingdon in Oxfordshire. Any questions please ask. Thanks for looking.

Here is my beloved Bravewood '64 Jazz for sale. I ordered this from John Elliott back in 2012 and waited nearly 6 months for it. It has ash body with see thru blonde finish over it. Pickups are Peter Florance Voodoo JBs. Tuners and control knobs are from a real '63 Jazz bass. Condition wise it is pretty much the same as when I got it. Frets and neck are in good condition and the bass has always been for home use only. It is a firm £1500 £1350 on this one I'm afraid as the tuners and knobs cost me over £350 alone. Sorry no case and no trades on this one. Cash on collection but can also post if need be. If the bass is to be posted then I will remove the neck. Any questions please fire away. I'm based in Suffolk but will soon be located to the Oxford area. Here is the link to the pictures http://s42.photobuck...z?sort=3&page=1 It's also currently on ebay albeit being more expensive
15. Thank you for your kind words Daniel. These are really nice guitars and you're right about them spending so much time (and I'm sure lots of money!) on them. They were right about those old plastics being brittle! As much as I'd love to keep it I just prefer the more midrange sound of a rosewood strat and have this feeling that it won't be played as much as it should.. Cheers fella
16. Fender '54 Stratocaster 50th Anniversary Masterbuilt by Chris Fleming (2004) for sale. Got this guitar via a trade not long ago only to realise that I prefer rosewood over maple fingerboard! These guitars were part of the special release commemorating 50th anniversary of the Stratocaster in 2004. Apparently Fender spent fair bit of money replicating the plastic parts and even went on hire a fella who used to work for Fender in the 60s to stamp the serial number on the tremolo back plate by hand instead of the usual neck plate! The pickups are also meant to be a special release that are totally different to the current 54' Stratocaster custom shop pickups. The neck is a very comfortable U-shape and is no way near as big as a Broadcaster. I find the neck a little chunkier than the usual modern Strats but still fits in my hand nicely. To be honest, once you've been playing it for awhile you tend to forget that it is chunky. Considering its age, the guitar is in really excellent condition with no damages on the neck or body. The guitar also has very minimal fretwear and very clean fingerboard. There are finish checkings on the body but these were mean to be part of the 'Closet Classic Finish' and the condition would differ from Master builder to another. I have seen one that was made by Greg Fessler that had more finish checkings than this one. There are two small cracks on the pickguard which I assume that Chris Fleming intended for this to happen. The guitar originally came with fitted 3-way pickup selector and a spare 5 way. This guitar is currently fitted with a 5-way selector for wider tonal range. Really lovely instrument with plenty of highs/twangs - highly playable with low action. I have had many vintage instruments in the past and I have to say that these masterbuilt instruments are really consistent in terms of built and finish - the neck pocket is one of the tightest I've seen. Come with original 'poodle' case, COA and candy case, although it does not come with a strap. The pictures can be found here http://www.bnbguitar...mming/index.cfm which is the website that I got it from. I am based in Cardiff but regularly travel to Birmingham so if you live nearby then I can always bring it with me. Postage is possible but I rather that the potential buyer sees and tries the guitar before buying. No trades please! Unless it's a Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Limited release Brazilian board 60s Stratocaster or Telecaster. I am open to offers but within reason. Although it is worth mentioning that it is currently the cheapest one on UK based websites (eBay has 4 going on at the moment including mine and they are all above my asking price - there is one in another forum which is cheaper but does not come with the 'poodle' case and has worse fret wear than mine). Any questions please ask and thank you for looking.
17. Awesome looking bass Daniel. I'd grab it if I was after an early 50s P bass..
18. Thank you for your kind words guys. Never meant to sell it but something else that I've always wanted just popped up..
19. Ok this is a feeler at the moment… Here’s an almost original, well loved, one owner (I am the second owner, minus the shop that I bought it from), Fender ‘65 Jazz bass for sale. At some point there was a finish wear on the top of body and the worn off section has had a sunburst touched-up done professionally by the original owner (see pic). The touch-up was done without having to refinish the whole bass, which also means that the solder joints were left untouched. In conclusion the bass probably contains about 85-90% of its original finish. I was also informed that the bass used to belong to a woman playing in a folk band that had very light touch, which explains why the frets and fingerboard (Brazilian?) are still in very good shape for an instrument that age. At some point, the original owner has also used a sharpie to touch up few worn spots of the black finish on the edge of the body but these are not really noticeable. Two holes have also been drilled to accommodate the thumb rest as you can see on the picture. No repairs on the body/neck have been made and the bass is structurally sound. Pots and pickups are original. The bass comes with non-original but old Fender hard case (most likely from the 70s). The bass did not originally come with a bridge/pickup cover but I managed to source an original the ’65 bridge and pickup covers, which will be included in the sale. Here are more pictures of the bass: http://s42.photobucket.com/user/cayston/media/Fender%20Jazz%20Bass%201965/IMG_0333_zpsqo44w26d.jpg.html?sort=3&o=19 The pictures are from the dealer that I bought the bass from and condition of the bass has not changed since then. The bass is currently located in Suffolk and therefore will need few days to pick it up if there is enough interest in the bass. I am based in Cardiff but frequently travel to Birmingham so can bring the bass with me if the buyer wishes the view. Postage is possible although I rather that the buyer picks it up as he/she will get the chance to view and try before buying. Absolutely no trades please. Any questions please let me know. Thanks for looking.
