Erm me at the Big Blues Day Renfrew Ferry July 2006 & with inflatable hair

I found this website [url="http://www.guitardaterproject.org/fender.aspx"]http://www.guitardaterproject.org/fender.aspx[/url] It does seem to work - it correctly identified the years my MIA jazz was manufactured (which I knew already - just need to remove the neck to see if there is a year on the neck base) and also where it was manufactured (which I didn't know)

First played a P bass copy at school - many many moons ago now First owned bass - Ibanez Roadstar P bass - and I still have it

It's a late 70's very early 80's Jazz with great slim neck (I think it's about 80 or 81 as it's an E number on the headstock and I've placed it around 79 - 82) Also have other basses including a Warwick Streamer bolt on from 95, a Toby Pro through neck (far east version) and have just ordered a Geddy Lee Jazz. Not sure if this helps you any Fraser
