1. Listed on Ebay from tonight as Buy-It-Now and will therefore sell to whoever comes forward first. Will update this post ASAP if sold via Ebay to avoid any confusion.
2. I think you can use any midi controller for patch swithing or parameter control in real time... Review here: http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/apr99/articles/tcgforce.htm The TC Electronic G-Force Effects Processor was designed for incredible ease of use. Includes more than 150 presets featuring simultaneous gating, compression, filters, harmonics, tremolo, intelligent pitch shift, chorus, delay and reverb. Capable of performing eight full-blown effects, in any order, at any time. A logical interface makes editing fast and easy. Tempo control is as easy as tapping, setting the note value, and assigning it to a preset parameter. Expression pedal input allows you to use MIDI controllers or a volume pedal, assign it to any number of parameters, so you can open, change, and vary simultaneous effects. Also features S/PDIF ins/outs and supports both 44.1 and 48kHz sample rates; comprehensive LED that shows the whole shebang at a glance; 16 assignable modulators that can be routed to any of the hundreds of parameters; 24-bit A/D as well as 24-bit D/A converters; internal universal power supply; 24K gold-plated audio jacks; heavy-duty extruded aluminum chassis
3. Now reduced again! Ebay fees would be £25 so price reduced here to give someone a bargain.
4. REDUCED TO £320 ! Then on to Ebay tomorrow.
5. Selling my T C Electronic G Force as I just don't use it. In good condition, effects are fantastic as you probably know. Note the display is easily readable but the backlight isn't on / working. I bought it like this for a load more money, so it's a real bargain.. NOW REDUCED AGAIN TO £299 ! collected from SL6 or plus postage at cost. Was going to Ebay but as fees would be £25, I've reduced the price here instead to give a bargain to someone on the forum. Crazy value... New price is £1350 so save over a grand! Any questions please ask.

7. Yes to CEB-3 as per message
8. Thanks for the replies.. The chap that sold it to me had contacted Mansons to find out about this bass... Hugh Manson confirmed that he made it, but he can't remember the specs, so sadly no help there. The shop did say the value is in the £500 to £800 range.... does that sound right? I checked the control cavity and and it's tightly packed and lined with foil so I couldn't easily see anything written inside. There may be something under the foil? Thanks for the info on the pickup... no coil tap but seems to have two coil or tone controls ( with centre indent) plus a master volume. I have now set the bass up... it has a lovely action except for the bottom E has a buzz at fret 7 and it won't go very low :-( .... The truss rod is correct so may need some work done on it. I'll also be changing the battery compartment to one that can be opened without a screwdriver. Otherwise all prefect for an old lady. Just off to a reherarsal to try it out... happy days!
9. Hi, I see this thread has been around for ages but I am really glad to have found it.... Yesterday I picked up a Manson headless bass (see photos).... I know nothing about it except that it is supposedly from the 80's and has been sitting in a corner of a room neglected for the last 20 years.? If anyone has any thoughts / info as to the model / build / wood or anything other comments on this one or Manson's in general, I would be really grateful. In any case, I am delighted / excited with it... it seems a lovely instrument. Thanks for any help. 10. Just in case it's helpful, the head is a Model 4001 GP12SMX 280Wattt RMS (580W peak) Many thanks for any advice... I can'tunderstand how I can get a buzz when the standby switch is on?? Is it a relay or a cap or diode about toi fail in the power supply? If the above is twaddle, I'm sorry..... a little knowledge is dangerous... I really need any suggestions or help on offer. Many thanks
11. Hi, I need some help please... I have a Trace Elliot GP12 SMX head... Occasionally when I turn the mains switch on there is an awful loud buzz... this happens with or without a bass plugged in and with the standby switch on (which I thought should stop anything getting to the speaker??) After turning it on and off once or twice, the amp switches on normally / silently and works without the buzz. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is..?? I'm worried that this intermittant problem will become permanent (maybe on a gig!) and I'll be stuck. Many thanks for any help or advice. Please PM if you can help me.
