Meant to be meeting up with Lee at the Manchester bass show - as far as I know these basses will be there.

I’m going to wear a long coat - I know the back streets of Manchester like nobody else...

When is the Manchester Bass Show Andy? Might bring an empty gig bag for a quick getaway.

Haha I have indeed... little did I know they are only 20 mins from my office... it was clearly meant to be! 😉

I was in Stratford-Upon-Avon today and did think about visiting BD but it would have ended in divorce. I've bought 2 basses already this year.

  3. First Concert - Deep Purple. the In Rock tour 1969

Last Gig- Martin Turner, Ex Wishbone Ash, September 2019

Best Concert- Pink Floyd. Earles Court 1994

Worst Concert - Hawkwind. The PA blew up during the first number, gig over and some tw*t nicked my leather jacket.

    Loudest gig- Deep Purple 1969

Seen the most- Rory Gallagher, 12 times.

Most Surprising - Earth, Wind and Fire, Wembley late '70's. I was a rock fan but they changed everything I thought I knew about music.

    Next gig, TBC.

    Wish I'd seen- Hendrix.

    I love Ricks 💓

    I can't play Ricks. 😢

Enjoy Al, all the best mate.

Glad you're liking it Neil, that Elite Jazz with Ki0Gon stacks/serial/parallel is sadly now my number 1. The Green is displeased 😁

You're an absolute star Karl, thanks again mate. I'm totally in love this Rick.

See. Different. Didn’t sell as well as expected. They also did a more affordable range. With a sea foam P type...nice

I remember that one Andy, played one years ago. Sounded good and well built as I remember.

I own a Lodestone very quirky but plays nicely and has EMG pickups and if I remember rightly a spector tone pump preamp, not sure if they were made in the same Czech factory as the spectors.

Lovely stuff, congrats with the new toy! I have a white classic pro, I'm not sure if the necks are the same (think they are?), but it's one of the best necks I've played.

It's the pickups on this version that do it for me. '60's sounding, Martin Turner tone on a budget , if your a Wishbone Ash fan. ( Which I am).

Congrats! These are fantastic basses. The pickups sound excellent and the necks feel like a really good jazz bass. I have a matching pair of sunburst ones and have a white one incoming - due to be delivered tomorrow. I'll probably end up getting a black one to complete the set at some point as well.

A white one may be on the cards after my wrist op. I can't put this down, It sounds and plays so well. This was the best 300 quid I've spent on a bass.

  11. Just bought this from  our very own  @JPJ. Was delivered to the hotel I'm staying at in Geordie Land. Playing it through my Vox headphone amp and Phil Jones cans, it sounds  thunderous. Can't wait to get home tomorrow and fire up my Ashdown ABM 500 and scare the crap out of the  neighbours. 15783399576605220803873405236789.thumb.jpg.6bdc667377e0340018d889b5248b1c28.jpg
