1. Would a Gramma Pad make any difference if your cab was on wheels/casters?
2.
FWIW the headstock wings are walnut.
You're absolutely right, the headstock wings are Walnut. Can't think for the life of me why I wrote Mahogany, must have been the Peroni's catching up with me!!!
3.
Does the blueburst have a name? I assume it ends in glo?
The blue colour's name you mention was called exactly that, Blueburst. It was the Colour of the year for 2005, however Rickenbacker had previously done a couple of guitars for Mary Chapin Carpenter in that finish. When Rickenbacker do a 'Colour of the year', they only finish the orders taken that year, and then delete the Colour, so they do remain fairly rare. Rickenbacker have currently suspended 'Colour of the year' and are only concentrating on their four standard Colours to speed up production. In answer to the topic's question, I'd go Fireglo all day long. It's a truly gorgeous finish, plus you get to see the grain of the wood (stunning on Rickenbackers), as well as the Walnut wings on the headstock. You miss both of these with the solid colours. I own a Blueburst 4003, and she's a real stunner. I do however still lust over a Fireglo model, and a while back I was thinking of selling her to buy a Fireglo model. Here's a link to some photo's of my Blueburst 4003 in case anyone's interested: http://s850.photobuc...mview=slideshow
4. I've taken some (dodgy) photo's on my phone, but for some reason I can't load them up. If anyone requires photo's please PM me your email address and I'll send them through. Cheers.
5. Yeah I can Ship to the UK for postage costs. Only found out tonight our Guitarist used to work in removals and has offered to pack anything for me, so it would be well packed.
6. Had a look on DV247 and this rig is coming out at £953. So with the Roqsolid covers included this is a great price
7. Hi I'm only looking to sell as a whole Rig I'm afraid. Cheers
8. Hi Up for sale is my mint condition, practically brand new TC Electronic rig. This rig is a couple of months old and I'm only selling as I wanna save up for an Ampeg rig. It's the BH 500 head with two matching 2x12 cabs. This rig is truly amazing and I have been using this over my Ashdown Klystron rig since I got her. The 3 pre-sets are great for switching sounds during a gig (I only set two, one for pick and one for fingers). It's the first time I've ever had 12" cabs, but they really are awesome. Also included in the price are a set of Roqsolid covers for each item, and I still have all the manuals and leads that came supplied. It's one seriously loud rig, I only take one cab to our practice studio, and then take the second cab along to gigs. This is a lot of rig for less than £700!!! This will be pick up only from North London, and anyone is welcome to come try her out. Fell free to call me on 07825 156152 I'll add some pics in the week, but here are the website links: http://www.tcelectronic.com/bh500.asp http://www.tcelectronic.com/bc212.asp Thanks
9. I'm on the hunt for a Hydrive 4x10 and LH500, but I think I'd be too far from you. I'm based down in North London, and see you're North West!!!
10. Hi Now looking to trade for an Orange Terror Bass and Orange SP 410 Cab (or possibly OBC 410). Thanks

12. Just found this one in stock at £239. Seems a bargain, and a cool colour. http://www.dawsons.co.uk/acatalog/epiphone...ilverburst.html
13. Dude, just go for the one with the vintage looking chrome pickups and hardware. It looks so f***ing cool, what else really matters!!!
14. On the brink of ordering one now. Just can't decide between two lots of the 2x12, or a 2x10 and a 2x12. I've never played through a 12" speaker before and I wan't the usual. A rig that can handle the lows and snappy highs. But at the same time I'm worried what some say about mixing speaker sizes. Do i go with the 2x10 to hit the highs, or will the two lots of 2x12's cover it. Cheers guys
15. This deal seems to good to be true. I'm thinking of taking the plunge, but what would be peoples advice on the best cab option. I notice peoples opinions on mixing cone sizes, so was thinking of going for two lots of the 2x12's. Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers
