Hi Ped.
How about us in the rest of Europe, what would you charge for postage? -
I am enjoying the Myung though.
Currently the main instrument in my Prog Punk Band
We want a sound clip please -
That's two of them you missed the obvious though
It's not a Jazz neck on there is it? If not I give up -
Is it the Seymour's and a different bridge?

Hi all.
Wanted to try and personalise/pimp my P-bass a bit so swapped out the old black pup covers for some creame ones. What do you think?

Nice one, liked it, well done.

I use a Genz Shuttle 6.0 through a 4ohm 600watt 212 and theres plenty to spare for me. So I guess the 9.2 gives you the extra sound shaping and watts so.. why not.

Strange they are not shifting.
Just thought I'd add that I bought myself a NeoX212T a few months back when I was looking for a single cab lightweight solution that would kick out a bit of OOMPH! and it certainly hasn't let me down. Great cab.
Good luck with the sale. -

Sometimes Guitarist never know when to cool it! Nice drum, bass tho -
Bass lust would be a Fender P or J from 64, be nice to have one made the same year as me but don't think thats going to happen lol (unless it's a gift)
Rig-wise.. think I'm ok as I'm now.. all GB gear. -
Many Happy returns and congrats on a nice purchase.

I'd argue that most prefer passive, I know I do lol.

Whatever I can reasonable afford or save up for with out putting my Family in strife.
If you have the money then why not (just that I don't) -
I voted 45-105 with rounds, but couldn't vote 43-104 with Flats Rounds on my Jazz and Flats on my P.

I kind of regret trading in the customised passive single pickup Wal Pro 1 that I had back in 85. But I got a Warwick Streamer custom stage 1 that went on to be my only bass for the next 20 years, so maybe it wasn't a bad decision, but would like to still have that Wal now or even know where it is as I beleive there weren't that many made.
Funny I have gone full circle with my Basses and ended up using Fenders again, as I started out with lol. -
Not every song needs to be filled with as many notes as you can get into the bar. You can be melodic with just selective notes as well. Sounds to me like you need to step back and try and get into the groove of what your playing a bit more.

All the great Punk classics coming out was this what started the riots in the first place? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMlpqOsc2BU
For the Blockheads' gig at Cropredy on Saturday.. Guy Pratt, apparently.
Cool. I'd love to see that, there is only one Norm! Should give Guy a good workout. -
Back on track.. and Simmo from the Clash days for me as well..

At about 15, (roundabout 78-79) myself and mates were into the Punk thing (Do it yourself!), a friend already played drums (and very well I might add) so we decided to start a Band, I wanted to sound like Jah Wobble and another friend wanted to be like Mick Jones it was as easy as that and we did our first gig at the School disco lol. Isn't that how it was for everyone?
Listening and playing along to records and watching peoples hands playing live was how I guess I learned or figured some of it out and that fuelled the passion. To this day I'm not very technical but still love to play.
We all still play our instruments to this day (tho not together very often) I guess it has been somekind of life long therapy for us. -
New Cab Day - yayyyy!!!
Have just received my new Barefaced Midget, to go with my Barefaced Compact & Ampeg PF-500.
Will update with a review of the stack once I`ve used it at a rehearsal, but just felt the need to share the joy today
That must sound great Lozz, can't imagine it gets much better. -
Just like mine! Brilliant cab and amp, the only problem I had was getting a good quiet sound hence the 1x12 in my sig.
Yes it is a bit loud! Can't wait to be able to turn it up a bit at practice next week.
Think I'll be leaving the cab at the rehearsal place... Headphone out is handy on the amp, plus I have a TC Electronics combo that will stay home for prractice.

in Basses For Sale
Posted
I really must stop looking at the Bass's for sale section. I already have enough trouble deciding if it's my Jazz or P's turn to come out and paly and adding a bute like this to the stable would give me even more headaches. I don't like mine to sit around collect dust.
Nice bass, I'm sure someone will snap it up.
