2. Hey guys, This is a brand new bass that we got at the moment, as this was build beside the other orders, and it can be yours for much less than a custom order. It is a true beauty, with a lot of lovely maple. Here is the specification : body - alder top - flamed maple fingerboard - birdseye maple neck - 3pcs flamed maple / 2pcs amarath 34" scale / 24 frets / 16.5mm spacing at the bridge pickups - Bassculture HB with matching wood covers electronics - Delano 3 way bridge - ETS tuners - Gotoh GB7 If you would like to pop in and try it out, this can be arranged, I live in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. Courier is not a problem and it can be posted internationally too. This is a top spec, beautifully hand crafted instrument for a great price, and I am pretty sure that anyone who ever had one of the GMR basses in their hands can confirm that. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to PM me and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Also please check my feedback to make sure that you are dealing with a basschatter with a good past Cheers, Pat
3. This bass is now sold, and I am happy that the deal went through the bass chat at the end. Thanks!
4. Just met with Cliff today and sold him my 64 reissue Jazz. Cliff been waiting for me at the spot at the right time and we spent about an hour talking about bass gear. Can't recommend enough, it was a great pleasure to meet and make a deal with Cliff and before that the communication was great too! As more people said before me, deal with absolute confidence. Thank you
5. Thank you sir Need some money, so you can find it on ebay now.
6. Bump, Had some offers but nothing that could make it. I am happy to hear any part exchange offers.
7. Hi there, This is just testing the waters and see what will happen, as I really adore this bass and recently played and gigged it more than my main custom bass. But I am just about to order another custom instrument, and in a few months I will need quite large amount of money to pay for it. This is a top of the range Fender Jazz, 64 reissue, but as Fender says, the best reissues they ever made, with clay coloured dots, reverse tuners, ashtrays (bridge cover has a foam underneath to mute the strings for that classic sound), and a Nitro flashcoat finish, very very thin, and not as hard as modern days finishes and this will be aging very quickly. Bass already has some small marks here and there, even that I take great care of all my instruments with this one is actually quite hard not to get any marks. These basses in Lake Placid Blue version with matching headstock are selling for about 1629 quid brand new, so I think that is a fair price for it considering few marks (custom shop would charge you extra for them ), and the bass comes with original hard case and all case candy, currently strung with DR rounds. and here is a little video of me playing some funky grooves on it, just mind the audio quality is from a camera, and bass was strung with flats https://www.youtube....h?v=wPh9wClUTHk I might consider some part exchanges too, any questions just hit me up. You are more than welcome to pop in and try it out yourself on my Markbass combo.
8. The bass is sold now, just want to mention one thing, as I thing it would be not fair if I would not do so, while the bass was sold as an 'and berg', The Gallery got back to me a couple of days after I sold it with a news that they got a replacement logo from Sandberg and that they will sort it out anytime if I bring the bass to the shop. It was about a month until I picked the bass back from them, and because I had the opportunity to let it go and wasn't sure if it will or when it will be sorted I let it go. So if anyone got a mixed feelings about the Gallery after reading this story just mind that they did not forget about all this stuff and even that I can't bring the bass to get it sorted because I do not have it anymore I will still use their shop when I will need it, as I was over the years when every once in a while I had some basses that needed work. Thanks, Pat
9. Still patiently waiting for the new owner. Still nothing from The Gallery about the damaged logo.
10. Haha, I will certainly point them in the right direction then. By the way, PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME ANY TRADE OFFERS, I clearly stated that it is SALE ONLY because I am broke after buying a new bass, and still I am receiving offers for trade demanding cash from me.
11. This topic lacks a typical 'if it was a fiver i'd have it!' or 'if it was a sunburst i'd have it!' or 'if it only had that S in the logo i'd have it!' bump!
12. Thanks for your kind words guys. It is one of a hell of a bass indeed and it wont be easy to part with it and I hope it will find a good home.
13. few detailed pics added to the very top post, here the and berg is sitting next to the replacement
14. Thanks, as I posted in the previous comment I will shot some pictures tomorrow as it will be my day off from work.
