Wrist Tendonitis issues - instrument options?
fiatcoupe432 replied to thisnameistaken's topic in General Discussion
I had this problem 2 years ago, i went for 6 session of acupuncture and since then i never had problem anymore. after its actually weird that this happen only when you play the thumb, i was thinking that on double bass you actually stretch more and need to do more pressure with fingers?!maybe thats wrong but the acupuncture actually helped me as i ve stopped for 6 months before start to play again always worth trying ciao antonio -

High End Fretless Question Wal Vs Pedulla Buzz
fiatcoupe432 replied to bassatnight's topic in General Discussion
I played a GWB-35 the other day, no longer made and about 400quid second hand, but honestly it was effortless to play, and I have never heard a better fretless tone, so why bother spending all that much? Killer looks and never-go-out-of-tune tuners too!
well said Dan, i ve owned a pedulla buzz, great bass and great sound sold it and got a gwb35, sounds fantastic and i wish the tuning pegs where on all basses. to be honest im gonna get (in future) a roscoe fretless to match my fretted one never tried a wal before, but im sure they are quite fun to play too,if i had to choose one i would def go for the pedulla. another great fretless for me are the marleaux i regret i ve sold mine. -
.......and here my first Roscoe........what an incredible instrument this is....

Well, you might well be disappointed in me, and of course you'll be disappointed in your other basses, but that latter one is par for the course.
Yeah!!! to beginn i want thank Ville to be always there when needed. bought couple of years back a bass from bass direct and i ve to say that Ville package was(far far better of that one from bass direct ) made to perfection ,bubble wrap everywhere . postage was really fast , the bass was delivered 3 days after payment. !!!!! i will buy from Ville again as soon my wallet will be full again. the instrument was in better condition then described, not a mark not a scratch or anything else if you have a opportunity to buy from Ville , just do it!!!!!! GREAT GUY!!!! thanks again Ville for the amazing instrument regards Antonio
