@Graham A How's the Bruce Thomas now you've had it a while?
Sadly we've had to cancel a couple of gigs so it hasn't seen any real world gig action yet, but held it's own at a recent rehearsal. I've seen that the price of them has gone up to £645, an increase of £50 on what I paid in February.
Not sure how much action it will see in the future though as I've just got my hands on a second hand Mike Lull PJ4, so it may end up down the pecking order for future gigs 🤔

Hi,
Looking at selling my Sandberg TM4 ( HCA ) in Roquefort Blue, as i've got my eye on something else ( GAS i know 😂 ). I purchased the bass last summer, & it's been gigged but now i'm find myself grabbing my P bass all the time for gigs as it fits in the sound of the band i'm in....or it's just the bass sound in my head.
The neck on the Sandbergs are brilliant, & this one comes with the addition of an ebony fingerboard & abalone notes.
The bass come with it's Sandberg gig bag.
Weight approx 4.2kg
Price amended to £1350 ono
Only looking to sell in the UK, & collection preferable, but if necessary a courier can be arranged at buyers expense / risk. I am also willing to meet up within a reasonable distance of the Middlesbrough / Teesside
Thanks

Hi,
Selling my Markbass Little Mark 58R which is now surplus to requirements, as i find myself gigging with my Genzler Magellan more often that not.
This amp comes with it's box, was purchased in July last year. Included in the sale is a Markbass carry case, which has been home to the amp since i purchased it. To fit the head into the case i had to remove the stick on feet, which i kept in the original box.
Only looking to sell in the UK, collection preferable, although a courier can be arranged at buyers expense / risk.
Thanks

I used the bass at an outdoor gig in Brooklyn, NY a few weeks after they were installed and they sounded great on stage. At least I or the sound techs didn't have any problems.
The loose pickups weren't listed. Someone on this board suggested I ring them up and ask. As they weren't making lefty Profiles yet, the owner of Bass Centre was accommodating, although I had to be patient as the process was very slow. Apparently, someone here read that I did this, tried it themselves and was essentially ghosted. So no idea what's going on, but it can't hurt to call and ask, especially as you are a recent customer. Bon chance!
Cheers @Agent 00Soul
Yes, i'd read the same on here, so wondered how easy it was to get hold of them.
I suppose at the time they were willing to do it as they weren't producing a left handed Profile, could be a different now.

How's the neck compared to your Precision?
Good luck with the new acquisition, these look and sound amazing for the price!
Thanks @rasher80
The width at the nut on both the Profile & my Fender Precision Pro 1 is 40mm, the Profile though has a shallower neck when compared to the Pro, so feels a bit more sleek. The fingerboard feels flatter on the Profile as well, but that could be something to do with the rolled fingerboard edges of the Pro.

Jealous! Those pickups are perhaps my favourite P-bass ones ever. I liked them so much that I bought a loose pair from Bass Centre and installed them in my Frankenbass. I would have bought the whole bass like you did, but couldn't justify another instrument.
Thanks @Agent 00Soul
The pickups sound great in the house, can't wait to try them out at a gig. I was looking at perhaps changing out the pickups in my Precision Pro 🤔 How easy was it to buy the pickups loose from the Bass Centre, as I haven't seen them listed?

In my search for a left handed P bass with a thinner neck i finally took the plunge & ordered a Bruce Thomas Profile Bass from the Bass Centre last week. I know i've only had it a couple of days, so it's still the honeymoon period, but i'm seriously impressed by it for the price. The pickups are so hot compared to my US Fender Pro 1 that i had the house shaking when i first plugged it in. The acid test will be of course when i gig it, unfortunately we've got no gigs until mid March due to holidays.

Thanks to @Graham A I now have a trio of Fender Precisions (top to bottom):
2021 Fender Player Plus
2021 Fender American Professional II
2021 Fender Player with Hi-mass bridge and Hipshot tuners
Would quite like one of the Japanese PB-62 reissues and a Fender or Squier 32" scale for the collection at some stage.
Glad you're enjoying your new bass @kevham 👍

Could be worse... you could have bought a Fender!
Hey! Just saying.
I've got a Fender P @warwickhunt, it looks like that's the bass i'll be gigging on Saturday night now. I was so looking forward to trying out the Sandberg too 😭

If you're happy with everything else I'd be minded to have guitarguitar repair the thing. Probably just a single solder joint job. Worst case the preamp needs replacing. Worse things happen at sea!
I know, just a bit frustrating. I was just trying to see if it was a common issue as i've only ever had a passive Sandberg before. I suppose i could always play it in passive mode 😂

ça doit juste être un fil dessoudé
From what you've said it could be a loose wire, even so i've only had the bass brand new a couple of days. Sadly not a good start to my reacquaintance with Sandberg 😟

Just as update for @rasher80 & anyone else who maybe interested. Really loving my Bruce Thomas Profile, i've been alternating it with my Mike Lull PJ4 & it's really holding it's own against the Mike Lull. My band mates really love how punchy it is, & when my wife first heard it at a gig she commented how good it sounded. I'm loving both of them, so i'm now taking them out to gigs, & my Fender P is consigned in it's case under a bed.
I've added some links to Youtube video's so you can hear how it sounds in a band mix ( best heard through headphones ). The last video is a compilation from our gig on Saturday where i playing the Mike Lull so you can compare. I'm playing through a Genzler Magellan 800 head & Barefaced Supertwin.
