This bass is mint and a great example of a progress 5. I've played it and it is set up beautifully.
Pete is a top guy, for a trombone player, and you can all deal in confidence!

In short I don't know. My understanding is that the previous owner changed the preamp to an East model and at the time removed the coil tap.
I've done nothing to the bass other than fit a dummy switch to cover the old hole!
4candles was the prior owner and may be able to advise....

First up I'm OK for nuts right now but thanks for the offer.
Sound wise it's difficult to say but I would describe it more as a modern j sound. If you tapped the humbuckers you might get something a bit more traditional I guess... In the ear of the beholder I think!

Have just conclude the sale of an Aguilar DB751 to Rainer. Great communications and a very decent and reasonable chap. I would not hesitate to trade with him again. Exactly what we need in the BC community.

Used to own one of these and it was awesome. Ran it into a mark bass for clean power. Why did I sell it? Because I was a fool!

Whilst I've not heard from Valec1 as I don't live in Austria I'm guessing the bass is no longer on it's way to me.

So there has been a fair bit of interest in this but the amp is still available at the moment.

It is now packed and ready to be shipped as it's clear collection is going to be difficult for most. If you want to price it the dimensions are 35x50x60 cm and the weight is 48lbs, shipping would be from an NR7 9NL postcode.
