Wonderful amp
I have many fond memories of these. Not sure I ever really used the overdrive channel on mine, it always sounded awesome though, especially with the ampeg 6x10
This looks to be in ace condition too, great amp for someone
Also worth mentioning, whilst it's not a lightweight 'stick it in your gigbag' type amp the extra size and weight is not prohibitive and - imo - well worth it in terms of the sound. Not wanting to start a classD turfwar etc, there just seems to be something that you get from these types of amps that you don't with the lightweight stuff...
anyway, glwts before I get myself into trouble

Further update - had a couple of enquiries regarding overseas px
Never say never but I think the additional taxes plus the difficulties around trying basses first etc put this on the very difficult pile
Happy to listen to ideas but on face value this looks challenging

Additional photos now added
I've had a few questions about dings and damage, there isn’t really any though. I’ve tried to capture the bass as well as I can in the pics, please shout though if there is anything more specific you need…. -

I'm pretty sure I've played this bass while doing some kind of dodgy deal with Mr BassDoyle. Absolutely beautifully low action on this one!
Nothing dodgy about any of our deals!!!
Correct though, it does take a superlow action. I'd call it medium-low (set up at the Gallery) at the moment but it can be a very fast player should you so desire...

Chaps the steak is hands down the best and most weird dirt machine ever
plus once you get your head around the filters it’s surprisingly easy to use live ie not just for studio knob twiddling
you won’t be disappointed….

Holy mother of loops!
Awesome machine which can even be configured to cut the lawn, get fags and a lottery ticket from the shop and do a semi respectable home haircut (requires the boss lockdown firmware)
Very good seller too, deal in confidence!

Picked this up in a trade recently. Great bass, so much so I'm hunting down an upgraded J5 so will therefore release this one back into the wild.
I hope Swaff is ok with my using his listing, there really is nothing more to add!
No case with this but I can probably sort out some packing if needed - postage would be extra though as this is already a goodly amount of bassness for the stated groatage.
Comes with the original pickups as well as passed onto me by Swaff
Cheers!

It’s too much bass for me matey but quite beautiful
the design ‘takes’ the 8 strings really well if you know what I mean!

We’ve not long since had a new kitchen in with lots of stainless steel.
I wonder if mrs bassdoyle would notice if I kept it in the kitchen…..?

I think this used to be mine, if so it’s killer!
I only sold it as wanted a fully passive 4, should have kept it though. Lockdown madness
I may have some clips, will see if I can locate…

I love this and want it badly
can you adjust the spacing though? It looks like not but I would have thought it should be possible on such a businesslike item.. ?
