A lot of bass for the money, I got all excited as I'm after one of these... in 4 string. Must learn to read the titles and not get all giddy thinking it is a 4 string!
so you’re actually looking at 150% fulfilment here….!- 2

Hi there,
Bought this very recently from the lovely oldslapper. I wanted a 6 and it's a fine 6er - punches well above it's weight - but tbh I'm finding that I prefer 5s B-G or E-C. Don't really feel at home on a 6 any more.
I've borrowed the original listing as this specs out the details plus oldslapper is a better photographer than I am.
I have modified the bass since receiving it. I removed the tonepump junior circuit (and fired it onto the moon in a lead-lined casket) and replaced with a KiOgon loom, so now the bass is totally passive VTVT controls with the original Bart pickups. The tone controls are geared to each pickup so a little more bass on the neck and a little more bit on the bridge. It works great and sounds sooooo much better than the TPJnr
Asking what I paid for the bass without the mod. There is no case included but I can pack the bass well for shipping or include a case at extra cost if you prefer. Or local-ish meet is possible. I'm in Norwich but frequently down in the Essex area too.
Much love

Sold a Sire P5 to Nik, great guy to deal with. Good coms which are always the key to a smooth deal. Hope you enjoy the bass matey

Nothing not to like here. Sire V2 PJ5 bass in back with tort guard.
Alder body, maple neck.
Regular Sire spec, no mods. This is the V2 model so has a slightly upgraded bridge and rolled edges on the board (good upgrade, noticable).
Bought for P bass duties but tbh I gravitate towards my passive 4 string P all the time. This fella doesn't get a look in.
I can ship it if needed or local pick up/meet is possible of course. Think I still have the original Sire box down in the dungeon....

Joking aside though I’ve always loved the 6x10 form, perhaps easier to move than 410s with the wheels and handle.
if shipping it becomes and option let me know!

T70 sold pending…

A few beauties here I think, at least of the more creative variety
No big backstory here, just looking to move them on. I might withdraw some/all depending on how things shape up.
Prices include UK shipping:
Steak - Sold
Moutarde - Sold
T70 - Sold
Nova Repeater - GBP 75
Moogerfooger RingMod - Sold
The Mooger includes a power adapter cable to give you centre positive from a standard centre neg supply. I would strongly recommend using it with a dedicated supply or a high quality isolated brick - might get noisy if not.

I think it's totally subjective.
In my experience of pedigree vs cheaper instruments there are certainly differences in the quality. Fact, no question. What is that difference worth and how much does it impact what you can do with it, well everyone will have a different view on that and rightly so.
I've heard great tone and playing come out of cheaper instruments and mediocre from high end stuff. Ultimately I'd say the main difference is how the instrument feels to you physically and via the tone your hear, the people at the back of the village hall will generally care much less (unless there are any bass spotters in the audience). There is no guarantee you'll get a better experience just by paying more!

What a catchy title!
bought this to try the multi scale thing
I really like the bass but ultimately the fan frets are not for me
https://www.ibanez.com/eu/products/detail/ehb1506ms_1p_01.html
bass is essentially brand new, no gigs, I have fitted an extra strap button though to help the balance with a strap
sale is possible of course but really looking to trade for a similar 34 scale 6 without the fan frets….
