Rainy weekend, so this was about all the progress I was able to make on my new repair project.

The head on my Markbass MB58R combo already has a lid on it upon removal. These little things make me happy 😊

My bands new single out today

It's been exactly 1 year since my last NBD 🙂

Time to simplify my set up. No more pedals (except a tuner), no more pre amps, no more compressors, no more drive.... just a p bass, valves and cab

The Cali76 has been the holy grail 🤩

A really good sound going on there. Really good sound. I listened all the way through and enjoyed it. I had it full volume and it was not rough on the ears at all, and sounds huge. Great stuff. Bass guitar worth noting on here too. Solid sound, and unique. Angry, but clear and thumpy. I like it.

Watching a guitar on Ebay recently, I received an offer from the seller of £100 off. Pretty good, I thought, and I'd have bought it straight away except for the fact that a quick check of the listing showed that the seller cheekily put the price up by £200 just before making the offer.

JC: bgtr, lvox; experienced in doing Phil Lynott bits; seeking other members 45-60 for Thin Lizzy tribute band. New Jersey region; however band will travel US East Coast. Know ‘Live & Dangerous’ setlists from 1976-1978 (Robertson era). Not to be a costumed-clown clone act but a true musical tribute (how would the Thin be if still playing in early 2000s?).
