I simply can't understand how it is possible to get a quality instrument out that cheaply.

I wonder how long the hardware will last and I would worry about the quality control, neck stability and fret work. Those would be my concerns.

However, I reckon it's its worth a shot, but only time will tell it it pays dividends.

I actually fancy a Retrovibe Ric and upgrading the hardware and pups, if its construction is up to standard. [url="http://www.probass.co.uk/RV4W.html"]http://www.probass.co.uk/RV4W.html[/url]

Doesn't look very much like a maple body with a walnut top... & I was under the impression that Elm might not be the wisest choice for a body. Looks like Ash to me.
