malbass Posted May 28, 2010 Share Posted May 28, 2010 Hi everyone I've been lurking around here for a while now, really enjoying reading the many and varied posts but thought it was high time to join in a bit more! Been playing bass for twenty years now though not playing in a band at the moment, mainly due to my ten month old son taking up most of my spare time. Currently playing a Fender Classic 70s Jazz bass, though perhaps not for much longer? Also have a home build fretless, made from some spare work top I got when my parents had a new kitchen fitted, may show you some pics one day!! Played many styles in many bands over the years, from a schoolboy covers band through live Drum & Bass in the late nineties, various rock & pop bands, more recently getting into motown and soul (though yet to find a band in this genre).
