Original Review I wrote with pictures: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=59956

Well here's a turn out for the books!

It has certainly been a wierd year for me gear wise and has certainly also seen a great deal of change going on. My poor wallet has had a coronary!

It all began when I hurt my back ages ago and I was gutted to see my Hartke 4.5XL cabs and Ampeg SVT2 Pro along with a rack full of gear sold off in search for lightweight gear. As I'm sure those who have seen my posts over the years have no doubt been privvy to my frustration looking for this G.A.Sious (I just made that word up) 'ultimate' bass rig that would once again like the tone in my head..

The rig I have up for sale today is what I had hoped to be the end of my GAS attack, as it is brilliant - but then I have to apportion some blame for a further GAS attack to my mate 'Stag' - oh - and 'BassCat' too for cementing a certain niggle I had over gearnot quite sounding like my old rig!! Thanks guys!!! - Hartke released the Neodymium speaker loaded Hydrive range.

Anyway, long story short - I played through the Hydrive HX410 and loved it - REALLY- infact, I bought one on a whim as it totally reminded me of what I loved about my old rig. - Then at the recent Mini Bass meet up here in sunny Norfolk, it was Hartke wall-to-wall!

I realise this is a for sale forum so I won't blather on too long - however - after several days of talking to Hartke, I am really excited to have been invite dto join the Hartke Artist Roster by Larry Hartke himself.

This ungigged system is now for sale at what I can only describe as a ridiculous price. I am not making any money back on it and I am asking for about half the price of the best online deal you are likely to find for the rig.

Condition: Excellent - a minor scuff on the outside of the cabinet, that will probably wash off and a set of holes where some larger wheels had been fitted. They do not affect the tone of the cabinet. You will or course have the original removeable wheels fitted and included.

I have a box for the preamp, I *think* but not for the cabinet system. I would recommend coming to pick up - OR I can meet you half way, depending on distance. PM me with any questions and I look forward to lots of people having a good laugh about my crazy year in Bass Gear. Tell ya what though - IT WAS GREAT!!! - Now, where's that long list of gear I posted that described all the stuff I have tried out since the 4.5's left????

Ok, so here's the full review and description: I think the link to the online manual is availble there too:

and price?

The lowest price for the cabinet alone in the US is here:

which

{edit} - Readding the part that got mysteriously deleted GRRR!!

I'd sat here and calculated that if you bought the Cabinet and Preamp from the website listed above, you'd be paying 1350 ish and 490 ish respectively, including VAT but not any shipping or excise costs. I, as I say am not looking to profit or make any money back, so £900 firm, is a ludicrous price for this week only and I will be raising the price to £1000 later next week to help along the deal!

Need to make space for a new rig :)

£900 - I would suggest local pickup OR I can meet halfway depending on distance. PM me, we can work something out to secure a purchase.
