FOR SALE: AN IBANEZ ATK300 4-STRING BASS

Used but in great condition, owned from new, bought 1 year ago.

Bought for £350 new as the shop I bought it from gave me a discount on the original price of £400 as the finish at the top of the neck, left of the nut (see picture) was not finished properly resulting in a slight grey patch (barely noticable) and a very minor laquer scratch next to the jack socket (1cm long just on the surface of the laquer)

Bought as a backup bass, hardly any wear except on the scratchplate under G string where I have been popping. Selling as I have just bought a new high end bass and now saving for a new amplifier.

Lovely tone and great to play for this price range!

Full Specifications are found here: http://www.ibanez.co.jp/products/eb_page10...p;series_id=326

Please refer to harmony central for reviews: http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...nez/ATK300/10/1

Total Cost if collecting: £220, and I'll throw in a used Warwick Rockbass soft case.

Total Cost if posting: £240, sending through Parcel Force in its original card board box, with much bubble wrapping, padding the inside and outside of the box.

If your are collecting the bass, I'll only accept cash for payment. Otherwise payment by cheque, bank transfer or Paypal.

Also would consider trading for a Yamaha BB415 in Wine Red in decent condition.

Many Thanks!

Quite similar definitely but obviously will not match the unmistakable tone that is the stingray! I personally love the sound of the single coil mode, reminds me of 70s funk, psychedelia and prog.

Just like to add the Ibanez ATK's are great basses.

I bought one as my first bass and I still tour with it. I've dropped mine, had a strap snap while doing a bass throw, done hundreds of gigs with it and it still sounds and plays great.

Trade for an Ibanez SRX08 ltd edition?

Twin humbuckers,
Fast, 24 fret neck.
2 Band active eq.

Was only produced for a short time during 2008 as a 'special edition'

It's got a paint-job that is unique to this bass.

Please have a quick glance through the ad in my sig for details :)

Oh and yeah, I was using it as an alternative to my Yamaha bb414, I see you are a fan . Just wanted something that didn't look as modern really, that and a maple fingerboard for contrast

Thanks for the big up Kaiu!

Sorry CraigPlaysBass, not after another bass unless its a BB415 :) nice looking bass though and I used to own a SRX505 about 7 years ago. Sold it to fund my Warwick Corvette which I am struggling to put up for sell but must be done at some point...
