Tascam MP-BT1 Plus A Wee Bit Of Chorus

So, I'm stuck in (what is effectively) a hotel room, noodling through my Tascam thingy, and I decided to play around with the built in effects. Long story short, I've settled on a wee bit of chorus (if anyone's interested in the settings, Depth and Mix both at 10, Level at about 2 o'clock) and the difference is amazing! It's really "filled out" the sound of the bass, but the effect itself is not intrusive, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, I got to thinking, who uses just a wee bit of chorus as a component of your "standard" sound when playing live? Or is this something which really only works for headphone practise?

:)

I've just had my first foray in to the world of chorus, having recently purchased a pedal.

We have been rehearsing Duran Durans Save a Prayer and according to John Taylor, chorus was used on the original recording.

It does sound damn fine, but I have only used it in rehearsal so far.

Good fun and I think a very useful effect, but not to be overused!
