I am initially struggling to understand how I can use it record 2 or different bass parts over a drum track. It seems to me that you can only record using the microphone and then the sound quality is sh*te! Wil Posted March 25, 2010 Share Posted March 25, 2010 Yeah, there's the rub. No real way around it, as I say I just use it for acoustic guitar and vocals, just to get ideas down. oddjob Posted March 28, 2010 Share Posted March 28, 2010 The iphones, and 2nd gen iphone touches have a 4 connector mini jack (TRRS), which will allow you to plug in a microphone/line in jack. If you've got the headphones/headset that came with the iphone the ones with the volume buttons and microphone, you should see that the mini jack has 4 connectors, TRRS, rather than just the TRS of a stereo mini jack.
