Before I got it I was thinking about getting a new pickguard and mounting new controls etc on it so I could keep the old one completely standard and untouched but it sounds fine so for the time being I'll keep it as it is. The white has turned into that lovely buttery creamy off white that only age can do. Looks lovelier everytime I look at it. Bit like my mrs in that respect.
