I never really took the instrument seriously, only learning the tabs to a few songs etcetera. Now I'm back playing it and I learnt a few muse songs to get my head around playing the instrument again but I'm kinda lost. What do you guys suggest I should do or where to go from now? Any routines that I should fall into or any genres I should look into or even any books that I should buy? Any help would be appreciated, thank you. What genres do you like to play? Getting into a band is great..you cant beat playing with other musicians... think of the different aspect of playing bass, write them down and work through them...IMO Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
OldGit Posted January 8, 2010 Share Posted January 8, 2010 Find a tutor and make sure you learn the dots and theory as well as playing. You'll be able to play all sorts of genres then.
