Guest MoJo Posted December 9, 2009 Share Posted December 9, 2009 I am just in the process of replacing the smoothing capacitors on the power supply board of my Trace Elliot BLX-80 and notice that they are coated in a flexible wax-like substance, obviously put there to stop the capacitors moving about due to vibration.
