I'm not sure if it's good value for money, I didn't choose it or know how much it cost, but..... It takes around 30 seconds to boot up, which very very occasionally annoys me. This is the only downside. What's amazing is the quality of the mic. Using this mic i've recorded acoustic gigs, unplugged electric guitar/bass ideas, piano in a garage, loads of random samples for use on the new Creep Joint album. When she got it me I thought "Oh sh*t, she's spent some money and this won't be any better than my phone" but it really is, the mic's amazing and the recording is very high quality.
