Scamtastic! - the Aberdeen bass playing community

LIsted my Modulus Q4 on ebay yesterday - someone bought it on a Buy It Now last night - good news you might think!
Recieved this email from the Buyer

I would like to notified you that, I have contact my
client concerning the condition of your item and he is ready for immediate purchase of the item from
you...... In order to conclude the transaction with
you without any delay, he instructed me to asks you
this few question concerning the item before he can
proceed with the transaction of your item he want to purchase from you.... This is the question below ;

1. Hope the item is still available for sale?

2. What is the condition of the item?

3. How long have you owned it?

4.a) Have you owned it from new? :) If not how many
previous owner?

5. Why are you selling it?

6. In your opinion, what sort of condition is it?

7. Any available photo for the item?

8. How much are you asking for the item?

9. What is the final price of the item?

10. Can we trust you on this transaction?

11. Do you accept Cheque?

12. do you agree to send the excess fund to our
shipping company after the cheque clears in your
account so that our shipping company will come to
your house for the pick up of the item?

If all this is understood by you and you agreed to
comply with my client terms, you can provide your
CONTACT NAME, ADDRESS, CELL PHONE AND THE FINAL PRICE
OF THE ITEM, so that I can have it forward to my client for immediate payment.

Apologies to any genuine bass players in Aberdeen but there does seem to be an unusually large ebay using bass community there!

they've just pulled a load of Excess fee check scammers off the circuit...
