These are the reason i'm selling a lot of my gear. Any Squier Experts? Can you confirm that the bridge pickup is non-original? AndyTravis Posted October 11, 2009 Author Share Posted October 11, 2009 As a point, i noticed the Knob closest to the Neck (Neck Volume) is not the same as the other two, leading me to assume the Bridge Unit is not an original fitting. AndyTravis Posted October 13, 2009 Author Share Posted October 13, 2009 The prefix is 'Sq' dating it to 1983, i know they did modern P/J basses at that time, but can't see any info online about the 70's style P-basses having a P/J option. Bass parts resources supplied all the bits and I managed to do everything from wiring to spraying etc. Its great fun and I think everybody should have a go. Just before all you experts have a go at my bass, this was for fun and a bit of experience. It may be crap to you but I am proud of it!
