It may be an unusual Japanese model, but I'd guess its likely to be a bitzer. The neck looks similar to my brandoni precision neck & the decal could be an eBay job. If the bits are decent quality it could be worth a punt if its cheap enough. As its being sold as a fender you're covered if it turns out to be a customised argos bass, but probably too much hassle unless a pickup is possible.
