premo Posted August 3, 2009 Share Posted August 3, 2009 Hi All Just acquired my first bass, a Mexican Jazzer. I have been playing guitar for a good few years, mainly funk and soul, had a desire for a bass for many years, gave in 2 weeks ago. Really enjoying it thus far, have a microcube for bass. Fingers on left hand no longer hurting and pinky starting to play ball !! Influences are Kool and the Gang, circa 1972-75, Parliament, Funkadelic, EW&F 70's, Ohio Players, Meters, Santana up to 1978 amongst others. Look forward to contributing. If you keep up with the bass playing, it could be all Dover for your guitars. If so, you could go over to the classifieds here and sell them.
