I bought this during a business trip to the US late last year. One of those "seemed like a good idea at the time" impulse buys. Apart from getting it out of the (nice, fittted, extra cost!) hard case for about an hour, I've really never used this.

It's a US-only model, but I've seen a couple of UK retailers advertising them as "1 of only 100 in the UK", so I guess they might be filtering through to the UK.

I paid $429 plus $130 for the case at a time of really crappy exchange rates, typically.

I'm asking £249 plus £20 towards courier costs for this. Or, if you're in the Warwick / Solihull / Farnborough area, we can probably meet up FOC.

On the trade front, try me with anything remotely musical (or even, non musical!).

When I bought it in the States, the chap told me that the Icon was the US equivalent of the Contemporary.... Not sure if that was salesman talk, but from playing a Contemporary in a music shop in the UK, they looked and played identically....

Here you go - excuse the crappy pics. I'll throw in all the dust you see in the pics for free, and yes, I know the table and bench need re-varnishing. The missus reminds me every weekend :)

As you can see, it's absolutely as new. In fact, I just peeled off the plastic coating on the pickups. If I don't get my asking price for this (or a decent trade, and I'm happy to trade up with me adding cash for the right bass/amp/fx unit). I'll keep it and stick some flats on it.
