I had that same experience with Alain Caron, he did a bass-clinic in Antwerp but he was a little late. When he arrived he apologized and said that he first wanted to wash his hands. When he came back from the toilet he started playing and explaining a couple of things. Then he said "Are there any questions ?" and I asked him "What kind of water do you use to wash your hands ?"
