I volunteer for a local charity shop, I PAT and repair the electrical items and sort out any musical instruments that get donated, and we had this come in recently.

The truss rod cover say Edge and it looks right, but none of the examples I can find on the web quite match up. Either the headsock logo is different, or they are single PU models or active. This one is passive.

I've looked at a couple of Dean serial number reference sites but nothing comes out for this one.

The reason I'm trying so hard to get a difinitve model is so I can price it. Prices for Dean's vary so much and as it's to raise money for the charity it needs to be priced right.

Any advice is much welcomed. Just to confirm, this is NOT for sale here. It will be sold by the charity either out of the charity shop or on their eBay site.

I’ve got the fretless version which I recently acquired from @synthaside. I understand that that the Korean ones were made by WMI with a mahogany body. The bass you show has 3 controls whereas mine (active) has 4 so I guess it’s the passive version and may be a basswood body. It plays really well but is considered a budget line.
