MarkBass LMIV with Pre amp pedal

Any suggestions for a pre amp pedal to run in front of my MarkBass LM IV to give me mild drive, warm tones, Ampeg vibe ? 
 

Must be a pre amp pedal with DI as it will also serve as an amp backup etc if needed

Ampeg SCR-DI would be my suggestion. Blendable gain which does from touch of break up to Lemmy really nicely, plus the Ampeg sound/eq.

The new bassist in my old band is using a Tech21 Para Driver in front of his Markbass amp & 210 cab to get the signature Knock Off sound. Combined with his MIM Precision loaded with EMG GZR pickups it sounds great.
